Alex is very knowledgeable and does tidy, professional work for a fair price and is responsive to emergencies. He installed a new gas log set in our living room chimney and then, during the Xmas Holidays, repaired our basement fireplace on an emergency basis on short notice.

My regular heating company noticed that my gas power vented water heater installation was not compliant and tagged it. When I asked for a quote to bring it up to code I was quoted around $2000 and that they would call to confirm (which they never did). I contacted Alex at POM Heating and Cooling Ltd he came in and gave me a quote for $500 the same day. He did a good job in less than a day even though it was a challenge replacing the venting through a pre-finished basement ceiling with no damage.
