Hard time exchanging a BRAND new dryer that was DOA.
Bought a Clothes dryer from them, didn't see the install since it was new home, unit turns on but no action. I called them regarding the incident. They told me that I have to go through warranty to get it serviced, I explained that it was wrong since it was DOA, I didn't use it for 2 years and this happened. So a tech still had to come and check out the dryer and he said that the motor is burned or something and a new motor would need to be ordered. It could take up to few weeks to get the parts. I thought that is terrible since I didn't think Inglis is that bad of a brand, I did some research before this purchase. I was so scared that I went and bought an extended warranty on the pair of washer and dryer from them. Finally one of my co-workers just can't take it the fact that they gave me the run around and talked to the manager, and he arranged to have a new one sent out and replace the old one. When the new delivery guys came, I had to dismount the old dryer MYSELF since they said they only do deliveries and will not install it on top of the washer. So they just left the new dryer on the floor. THEY ALSO NOTICE THAT THE REAR PANEL OF THE DEFECTIVE DRYER WAS BENT OUT OF SHAPE, IT MUST HAVE BEEN DROPPED during the last install or something. This was a very terrible experience I had with them, I would NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.
