In Nov. of 2009 Mersey installed a new Lennox furnace. During the install they dragged the old furnace across my hardwood floor severely scratching it and resulting in a $10,000 insurance claim to replace the damage. Noticing recently how dry the house seemed in spite of a $500.00 humidifier that was part of the furnace install ,I purchased and installed a new solenoid valve which did not solve the problem. I called another company to assess the problem and was informed that the humidifier had been improperly connected to an add on transformer ,in spite of connections on the power mother board that was there for this purpose. The result was that the Humidistat was continually powered live and had burned it out. Final tally -$85. for the solenoid valve that didn't need replacing and $200.00 for the service call. Way to go Service Masters (hardly) job well done. Bottom line don't use this company .Beware!!!
