We replaced large 3 panel windows. The middle pane was large with 2 small wing panes. We specifically said that we put new blinds on the year before (cost thousands) and want the window panes to be the same size so we could use the blinds. Northern first came with 9 windows that were the wrong size. 2 weeks later, they came back with windows that fit the opening, but the large 3 panel windows had panels all the same size. I suggested 2 options to Northern - 1. replace the windows with ones that had the same size panels that we had before 2. I'll price out the blinds (probably around $2000) and deduct it from the invoice balance and pay that much. Northern offered $200 for the blinds. I said no, and they said they would send my bill off to a collection agency.
Nice Northern. These are definitely not the windows we ordered and I have a contract that says the original blinds would be reinstalled by Northern even. STAY AWAY FROM NORTHERN. YOU'LL GET A WINDOW YOU DIDn't WANT AND THEY WILL STILL BILL YOU FOR IT.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We have reviewed your file and see that your order is complete as per your contract. As we try to accommodate requests for blinds to be reinstalled, we will always certainly try; however windows are made to fit your home, whereas blinds are made to fit windows. When windows are replaced in a different configuration from a previous window style i.e. converting from a bay to a flat window, or altering the style; this cannot be accommodated despite our best efforts.
