Hired them to fix a specific problem, blackening, smoked up glass. Charles did not thoroughly take the fireplace apart, did not discover the problem and did not fix it. I called back and Terry said he "thought it was a distorted burner", although he had not been here, and the burners had not been looked at. He suggested I might be able to replace a burner with an old one if one could be found. I hired another company, who fully dismantled the fireplace, discovered a worn seal and air leak around the gas pipe, repaired it, repositioned a log, and problem solved. Charles admitted to me on the phone that he had not been thorough enough, and I believe Terry owes me a refund, as they didn't do the job they were hired for. He has tried to say that they were there for a routine service, but that is not true. I hired them to fix a specific problem. The serviceman from the other company took it upon himself to call T.J.'s and say what he had done to fix the problem. I have not heard from Terry since Jan 19, and I gave him plenty of opportunity to provide a refund to me. His communication with me has also been unsatisfactory, as he is very slow to respond, and has taken no initiative to rectify this situation.

I called Terry to help install a new fireplace I wanted in our basement. He was very professional in our conversations and was able to get us the fireplace we wanted at rate better than what other companies were offering. Overall, we are pleased with the work that he and his team has done.

Called this firm on Tuesday and they came out as promised next day. Charles & Jordon came in and set up immediately. they took FP apart and solved problem(s) . Cleaned up after finishing and did a great job. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending for service work. Nice to have folks this nice do work in my home.

We recently moved into a home which needed a gas line installed for the bbq. It was cold and miserable but Charles @ TJ's promised it would be before Xmas. They installed during a snowstorm Thanks guys! Top notch service, highly recommended.

I received great service from TJ's! I called to book an appointment and Charles was at my home later that same day. He was polite, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. There was no pressure to have me purchase more than what I needed to get our old fireplace running again. He clearly explained what needed to be done and why. I definitely recommend TJ's to anyone.

I was told by two other fireplace companies that my problem was too big and my fireplace too old (one guy tried to sell me a new fireplace for $5100!) Terry responded to my inquiry the same day and offered to send someone the same day as well. Charles arrived on time and was very polite and professional. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. He fixed my gas line and my log fireplace within a couple hours, tested everything and reassured me that my fireplace was safe to use. I am very grateful that I found TJ's and would not use anyone else in the future!!

Replacing Gas fireplace which was installed 19 years ago and was no longer working...Had 3 quotes and Terry from TJ's Fireplace was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Fireplace was installed in one day and the granite surround was ordered and installed a week later.
Very satisfied and happy with the results..

Terry and Charles are pros. They were prompt to schedule service and punctual.
Charles knows his stuff and was quick to diagnose and resolve my gas fireplace issue.

I called this company and they were able to accommodate my tight schedule as we were just moving into our house. The fireplace wasn't working so they came very quickly cleaned the fireplace and diagnosed the problem. Charles is very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this company!
