Our garage door stopped working, called The Garage Door Depot. Received a call back almost immediately. Monte came, assessed the problem and explained what needed to be done, scheduled the work for two days later and then called back in a couple of hours to say he could come back that afternoon! He got the work done (converting the spring system on the door) and spent a lot of extra time trying to fix a problem with our opener. Monte is experienced, friendly and explained everything. I am completely happy with the service and will definitely be calling Monte in the future if I need someone. Thank you!

I was having a hard time finding someone to repair the broken window on my 10 year old Garex garage door. I found Greg Darby through a lot of excellent reviews, and he was able to help me right away. He was prompt and responsive in answering my emails and questions, and on the day of the repair he went the extra mile by lubricating and reinforcing my door. I cannot say enough good things about his knowledge and service. Great job, Greg!

Four years ago, we had to replace our sliding barn door for 2 garages in the city for new garage doors. After receiving several quotes from other vendors, we selected Greg from Garage Door Depot for his knowledge, proposal/options, project plan/schedule approach. We were not disappointed, he was professional, patient, clean and went above and beyond from ensuring the stability of the garage structure to ensuring the new garage door were going to function properly without any issues going forward. Greg and his trusted dog 'Dodger' ensured the job was completed successfully. They were present rain or shine even in cold weather. We also use Greg from Garage door Depot on 2 other instances, 1) when the steel cable broke on the garage door due to extensive cold weather (-40). Greg replaced the cable on a cold Saturday morning and we had no issue ever since. 2) Installation of garage door opener very recently. Greg is professional and very patient he always ensure the customer are well informed. We would definitely recommend Greg from the Garage Door company to anyone in a heartbeat. We were very satisfied with the service and professionalism.

The garage door opener for my garage broke, i was debating whether or not to fix it, replace it with a new model, or replace it with a manual system. I called around to get some quotes and advice which is how i met Greg from Garage Door Depot. He was awesome! I can't express in words how completely satisfied i was with the service i got from him. From the get go he went above and beyond, providing options, different solutions, recommendations, etc.. He even told me that if i wanted to attempt to fix the door myself, he'd talk me through any issues i ran into.

I ended up deciding to replace my old garage door opener with a new one, and Greg was even willing to make suggestions on which one to buy (what to look for - belt vs. chain, required HP, brand name, etc.). He then came by to install it for me and when he was done he explained everything to me about how the opener works and how to make adjustments if necessary, he mentioned issues i may run into in the future due to the age of the door itself, and offered some tips/suggestions to deal with that. He really showed that he cared about me as a client and valued my business.

Our garage door opener failed just as we were leaving for vacation. Upon our return I went to Homestars to have someone take a look. Within 10 minutes of posting I received a call from The Garage Door Depot, and they were able to send someone out within a couple of hours. The service technician was very courteous and thorough, would use the Garage Door Depot again (hopefully not too soon though).

EDIT: Less than two months later the repair job failed. Turns out the technician did not apply any grease when he replaced the sprocket so it wore out in shorter.

Our garage door stopped working after some time. After doing some research, I decided to contact Greg of Garage Home Depot. NO REGRETS! He's professional and very patient. He explained how the opener system works and how to maintain it so it'll last longer. Best part is, I was charged just for the gear replacement, not the whole gear kit like what other will charge you. Highly recommended!

This January my garage door opener failed after 17 years. Greg proposed a number of options to repair and costs and then surprised me by a day later indicating he could do the work on the Saturday. Work was excellent (and it did not hurt that Greg is very personable).

I will definitely consult him to do the work on my next house!
