I contacted Ersin, who did my brother's fencing in another sub-division when another fly-by-night of a company started knocking on our doors.

He was professional and courteous and very great to talk to and had dropped off flyers in the neighborhood to have a meeting on a Sunday evening for us to discuss. Most of the neighbors came out and asked questions, which he answered thoroughly, as I told them that his company has the experience of over 10 years service and has an excellent rating and not a fly-by-night. All the neighbors were on board and happy with what he was offering.

The next steps was to have everyone sign their contracts, which outlined the pricing for their portion of the fencing and once everyone signed, it was a go in approx 3-4 weeks of starting the job and depending on weather and balancing their other projects.

Once the job started, the workers were excellent, as they took care of the debris of dirt dug up for the 6x6 posts, which was accurate to the housing survey provided. Cementing was just as efficient and the posts were leveled accurately. After the cementing was done, the fencing started and again the design and privacy style of the fencing was done efficiently and quickly. The workers were a good bunch of guys that worked hard and knew what they were doing with the fencing.

The gate that was made is excellent and I do recommend to get it with the package, since the wood matches with the rest of the fencing, as you may opt to buy a ready made gate from the hardware store, but the wood finish may differ. Also, the gate latches are top notch and easy to use both ways.

Overall, I would highly recommend them and don't understand some of the negative comments, as I have witnessed them building the fence and removing any cracked posts or boards that were not suitable for the job.

The fence was done after a year and a half of the house being built, as you want to wait for sometime for settling down and has gone through two winters before this was put up.

Did work for our new subdivision in King City. Everybody was please with the workmanship, price and quality of material. Definitely recommend this company, will use them again for our deck this year. 10/10

This Company approached our neighbourhood of all detached homes, which was a new development area from various builders so there were no fences up.

The quality of work (done in Summer 2014 - currently Oct'2016) seems OK but not great. I know I wanted the sono tubes (spelling?) with concrete done for each post to make them more secure and long lasting as that's what some other Fence Companies suggested, but this Company said they didn't do that except for the properties that have backyards that touch the street. That is, an end unit house. To be fair, it has been two years since they installed and the fence is still standing [HAHA].

There was a meeting set-up by the Company one day at 5pm in the backyard of someone's house in the neighbourhood. It was too early in the evening (in my opinion, as most people are not home from work by 5pm) and it ended up raining that day so most neighbours did not attend the meeting. Therefore, most people did not hear what the Company had to say. I did attend the meeting and I was not impressed. This is my first detached home (previously I lived in a Condo), so I did not know anything about fences. When I asked questions, the representative (he might have been the owner) did not seem to want to answer my questions and kept trying to brush me off. I remember him even saying "a fence is a fence, it's not that hard. Don't ask so many questions".

Also, I found that they used pressure tactics where they would tell people that their three neighbours all signed on to use the Company (three neighbours = two next door neighbours plus the one backyard neighbour) and said that you had to sign-on as well and pay or else they couldn't start working and the rest of the neighbours would blame us. I call this a pressure tactic, because I didn't sign right away and instead talked to my neighbours first, and they told me that they hadn't yet signed anything either, but were given the same hard-sell.

The quality of the work is OK - as I stated above. My biggest pet peeve with the work so far is that the two simple gates (their basic model without any windows/iron work within the door), which each costs $150 + HST, does not fit the frame that well. I know that there is contraction & expansion of wood as the weather & temperature changes, but I'm sure these "fence experts" should have taken that into account. There are times where you can not open or close a gate. Luckily I've got two gates (one on each side of the house), so that one time when I was stuck on one side, I looped around to the other side of the house to use the other gate.

They were priced reasonably, but not the lowest and I used them only because all the others in the neighbourhood ended up using them as well.

I did get other price quotes and the lowest quote was $1,189 + HST for the fence.

High quality work done by the team. Great design and craftsmanship particularly on the deck. The fence really standouts out on the corner lot home. We have recommended Arsin and his team to a number of friends and they have also been quite satisfied.

I had my deck and fence done by Toronca. Ersin was very professional in his approach and transparent with the estimates. The work was done as per the specs and within the agreed cost. There were no surprises. Both the deck and fence is high quality work. I have no issues in recommending Ersin and co.

Workmanship is almost perfect. Technicians were polite and easy to deal with. Speedy finish on deck (one and a half day) with stunning effect. Finishes could be more detailed.
Promised to come back to correct some minor material faults and finishes.

After interviewing a lot of Fence companies, we called TORONCA and met with Ersin, he was professional, knowledgeable and humble in his interaction. He offered addressed of his resent work and all of them checked out.
Work was started within a time frame given, communication was great
Even though the project was small the pricing was competitive. The work was finished in time and every detail mentioned or agreed was delivered.
I requested a door opening change after the install and it was also taken care off.
Two of my neighbours built a deck from them and they are happy with the work

Toronca recently built my backyard deck and fence and my review is for the deck as the fence work is pretty much what you get for what you pay. I have seen the fence work of one of the competitor companies with whom we were negotiating before engaging Toronca and their work is also pretty much the same quality, so no comments there.
Regarding the deck; I wanted to extend my deck and Toronca helped me design it. They were quite quick in completing the work and the quality of work is also very good (different team for deck work than fence). They have used the materials as what they promised in the quote and I am extremely satisfied with the final product. My neighbors have engaged Toronca for building their deck after seeing the work in my house.

We live in a new development and they sold us on the story that they were doing the work throughout the development. Reasonable pricing got the buy in from all the neighbours but quality of material and workmanship is terrible. Cement in posts spilled all over grass, wood posts are cracked top to bottom and wood has split and warped to the point where we can see into our neighbours yard, not to mention that placement of wood is inconsistent throughout leaving huge gaps and not much privacy. Our main gate is bent and the door does not close. We paid an additional $100 for a gate on the small side that have huge gaps on either side. They are quick to complete the job and collect the cash but customer service is non-existent as they rarely answer calls and when they do they say text me and i'll send someone over...after numerous text messages over 2 months we have not seen anyone follow-up. If you've read through this thread I advise you to NOT hire this company unless you want terrible work and no customer services. You get what you pay for.

These guys are fast but the quality is very poor, the fine details are cut and their methods are strictly for speed. I'm not happy with the fence twisted wood, large gaps in fence board when it should be overlapped full privacy my gate is twisted and not square, the gate should be assembled with screws and its full nailed thus the issues. The decks they built for the neighbors are awful, unlevel and poor installation, not using proper fasteners. You get what you pay for in quality installation. Anyone can do but it takes a pro to do ire right and recognize someone that does it right. If your getting prices from someone that is considerable more money it's probly for good reason. Do your reaserch.
