Can not fix my fridge after 4 service calls

I was assigned to Elite Appliance because of a Frigidaire fridge under manufacturer warranty. Their technician came to my house on 4 separate occasions to fix the fridge. The fridge was deemed unrepairable on the 4th service call. I was told that Frigidaire will contact me to arrange for a replacement fridge. When I contacted Frigidaire, they had no records of the last 3 visits. I was kicked around like a ball between the two companies for a couple of days. Then I was able to get someone from Elite to verify with their technician the work done on my fridge. After clarify that everything I said was true, Elite then said, they cannot update Frigidaire because my file is closed. They left me hanging and Elite refused to call Frigidaire for a verbal confirmation. I was speechless. Why are they unwilling to update the company that hired them? Will they get less dispatch calls from Frigidaire??Their explanation doesn't make any sense to me. Now, Frigidaire wants me to take time off again so another repair company can come take apart my fridge all over again. Elite Appliance Service is very unprofessional and a complete waste of my time.

Good Afternoon Mandy, thank you for providing your reference number so that I could pull up your file. We are sorry for your frustration surrounding the appliance, however as you know we are the servicer we are not the manufacturer of the appliance. As you know by your phone calls with our agents, we sent a request for a unit exchange for the appliance, we also gave you the file number to follow up with the manufacturer. While I can imagine how frustrating it can be and we are sorry for that, we have been instructed by the manufacturer to give you that file number that was given to us so you can follow up with them as they would be responsible in getting a new fridge to you through your dealer not through us.
