Marnie Amodeo, General manager at Convertible Heating & Air Conditioning, came to my home to quote on a gas furnace and water heater. She was right on time, friendly and very knowledgeable. She did a superb job of explaining all of my options and answering all of my detailed follow-up questions. Her pricing was extremely competitive. Kemar and Eric, the two technicians who did the installation, were very polite and professional. They worked straight through the 5-hr+ installation job, apologized for the noise(!) and cleaned up after the job was done. Kemar answered all of my questions about operating the equipment/making adjustments. I have had my home extensively renovated and this was one of those rare jobs where I had complete confidence in my choice of supplier and in the work being done.

Our old furnace died on us right after the basement renovation at our old house. Turned out to be that the new furnace systems require drainage (which we didn’t know) and ours was at the other side of the house. We did not want to “open” the floors again right after the renovation, so we called a few companies to get some advice. Convertible came and had the great idea with very minimal damage to our new basement. They were able to link a small pump to the drain from the furnace with only small hole to our ceiling – no mess at all! That was great!
The work was very clean (Kamil & James were awesome!), the fishing of the line from the pump to the drain, the replacement and the installation of the new system were done in a span of 6 hours with no major issues and finalised at the agreed price (no surprises at the end).
Thank you Marnie for the great service, we are so happy with our new (and efficient) furnace and would recommend Convertible to any one that need a new furnace – job well done!

Hired Marnie and company to install a tankless water system and a ductless split. The experience for both installations was flawless and I particularly appreciated the heads up on choosing the right venting for the tankless...Overall it was a family-like experience that is pretty rare these days. Recommend without question.

Chris came to our home to give us a quote and explained which model would work best for our needs. The workers installed the unit on schedule, they were very professional, cleaned up after the work was done and also returned the rental hot water tank for us at no extra charge. Their price was competitive and had very good warranty coverage. It has been 3 days now since we are using the new tankless model and so far so good! We will call in the near future for furnace & AC quote.

We've used Convertible multiple times in our current house; they installed our tankless water heater (with an unusual venting requirement) and the experience was so pleasant that we had them back again a year later to install our central air unit.

Most recently we noticed a gas smell in our utility room and Marnie had someone out the same day to locate the leak (on the original furnace supply line, notably not installed by Convertible) and patch it up right away.

What I've found the most refreshing is that of the 4 or 5 workers we've had from Convertible in our house every single one has been not only professional, friendly and prompt, but have gone out of their way to explain the work they've done to someone who knows a fair bit about computers but nothing about furnaces and water heaters.

When we move to our new house we know who we'll be calling if we need HVAC services...

Very pleasant transaction, Marnie provided a few options/estimates, answers for all our questions with very competitive prices.
Installers crew came (Branden/Josh) in a few days later and did the work in less time than estimated, everything is working great and dealing with this company is an overall great experience, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new ac/heating system in the GTA area!

We had decided to switch from oil to natural gas to heat and cool our home. We requested 3 estimates, including one from Convertible. Marnie arrived when she said she would. She is very knowledgeable about HVAC systems and rebate programs offered by various levels of government. She was able to provide us with the information we needed to make an informed decision without making a high pressure sales pitch. The estimate to remove all oil equipment and install a high efficiency furnace, air conditioner and hot water tank was very reasonable. All of the work was done very efficiently; one team to remove the old equipment and another to undertake the installation. Both teams made every effort to carry out their work with minimal disruption or damage to our home. All of the work was completed in 2 1/2 days. We would highly recommend Convertible.
