Beautiful Basements

Beautiful Basements just completed basement renovation in our 35 year old home. The additional twist to this project was also installing a brand new bathroom.

Josh and I have extensively renovated 7 out of our 8 homes so we knew this particular project had its share of challenges before we contracted Beautiful Basements to complete the work necessary.

We are so very pleased that Steve Gerenscher's (Owner) had the expertise and experience required to select the best Trades professionals for this project and put his own creative design into action.

I should mention that I am a tough reviewer but felt it was important to let others know what a remarkable job this company did for us.

they did a wonderful job renovating our basement. there were no flaws and would absolutely recommend them to a friend. i would definitely ask them to come back and do more work for us.

Very good service! Excellent support group of sub contractors: electricians, plumbers and flooring, etc... Very reliable and did everything in a timely service. They were very tidy! And they also had excellent followup service! And I would strongly recommend it to everyone looking to do a "full gut."

After reviewing the company on the Better Business Beureau website, we decided on this company based on their excellent rating. After contacting them they provided 3 pages of references. We then discussed details of the reno one on one with the General Contractor and we were happy with the initial plan.

The work commenced immediately and all trades that came on site were of the best quality. Each one completed their part of the reno in 1 day. Unfortunately there was about a week between each trade coming in to do their part. That made the reno drag on much longer than we anticipated.

All the materials that were used were of excellent quality except for the tub surround that was used. It is seems flimsy and the gaps between the sections used to build the surround were filled with clear silicone. Some of these gaps are at least 1/2 an inch wide.

Aside from these negatives, I was happy with the quality of the work. They didn't have to come back to correct or touch up anything.
