Painting multiple interior rooms
As designers, we are very picky about painting. Getting the colours right and all the edges "neat" on a room is really important to us. It's a challenge to find a painting company that can deliver quality, service and price. I'm delighted to say that Encore delivers on all three.
Over the past four months we've had Encore Painting at our home to do various painting projects for us. They've repainted two bedrooms, our hallways, new baseboards, new doors, and our newly renovated den. All the rooms look great, and their attention to detail is superb.
What I also appreciate about Encore is that they hire "nice" people. We've put them to the test on this because we've had them back many times, and have had different painters. Each time, I've come away thinking that Jon (the founder) hires great people who know how to paint. It's always an imposition to have people working in your home, but with Encore staff, their courteousness and thoughtfulness really stand out -- it's a pleasure to have them around.
I recommend them highly. (Leah, our Supervisor was terrific.)

- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- We love colour and enjoy transforming rooms with it. Ask the painters to paint large sample swatches of the colour you're thinking of using and live with it for a day or two. Even hang a painting or two on the wall to test out your new colour. We do this and it really helps us get the colours we love.
