The Renovators of Canada

This was one of our first investment properties we bought and we did a terrible job at screening. We contacted T-ROC, they gave us a quote very close to what we had in mind and a completion date we were satisfied with. With the amount of work that was required I wasn't sure they could pull it off but they did. Under budget, under time and both Darlene and I are SUPER IMPRESSED!! If you need need work done to your own home, or investment property, make sure to give T-ROC a call. They have a system and team second to none.

Bought the Demo Kitchen from TROC. Really happy to see the final product. QUARTZ in the Kitchen and well as in all the washrooms (Including powder room). Replaced all the faucets and sinks with a new one.

Loved the toe kick lighting..

This team is unbelievable. Great service end to end from the moment they came into my home and did the last check. Gave advice, walked through anything we didn't understand, taught us how to do touch ups at home but most importantly my home looks beautiful because of them.

Allan the first representative came into my home assessed the situation and put me at ease. He was willing to support us in our case of it ended up being a court situation. Polite and consistent in providing good communication.

Alan the architect came in and as the pro he is diligently looked through the issues and walked me through what was ok and what was problematic.

John the carpenter and artist did all the finishing touches and like magic he made my kitchen and family room beautiful. The added work I asked him to build were fancy toe kicks that gave a modern kitchen a homie feel. The toe kicks are gorgeous that I know you'd want them of you saw them.

Sean the site leader is just that a leader and treated my husband and I so well, communicated in a timely fashion and simply ensured all requirements were completed. He also showed me how to do some touch ups as well.

There was one other team member that did the finale I am sorry I forgot his name. He patched everything up to the point you can't tell anything was cut open.

Overall these are professionals that you would want to come in your home, they put themselves in your shoes as they too are home owners and get it. They truly believe in what they do.

The Renovators of Canada installed laminate flooring for me at a rental property. They did a great job, they were on time and under budget. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

My experience with Renovators of Canada was top notch from day one to the finish. Everyone involved was professional and respectful from the top down. I was really impressed with my go-to guy, Dennis, and his patience with me and with his leadership of his team. No task was beneath him and he responded immediately to any questions or concerns that I had. Floor tiler Clint was the ultimate perfectionist - although he was exhausted at the end of the day he vacuumed my living room carpet AND the carport. Carpenter John whose improvisations in adapting certain aspects of this old house to the new material were no less than genius.... and he spent the whole of his 50th birthday installing my kitchen cabinets. The demo team Giuseppe and Siamak were incredibly efficient and pleasant even though it was a blistering hot day and Siamak did an amazing job installing the backsplash. The plumbing was executed by one very smart guy - forget his name. Actually the whole team were terrific and if I were going to have more renovations done Dennis would be the first person I'd contact.

There are many scary renovation stories out there. This is not one of them. This company is wonderful. The supervisor, the contractor and workers are professional, knowledgeable, hard-working and they always make sure that the work they do is work done well. They clean up each day before leaving the house. Communication is key to a good working relationship, and they know this, making it a priority. The job supervisor is only a phone call or text away and always follows up when he says he will. We are more than satisfied with the work they have done.

We are only part way through our renovation so far, but wanted to write a review of T-ROC at this phase of the project in recognition of how pleased we've been with their services up to this point. Our renovation turned from something that seemed fairly simple and straightforward to a situation that required significant structural work that was not caught during our home inspection and was totally unexpected.

Rob and Jesse have worked tirelessly (and I'm not exaggerating when I say tirelessly) to keep our project moving forward despite the hurdles we've encountered. They have gone above and beyond to ensure that we are getting the best value for our money for our project that has more than doubled in budget.

At this stage in the project there are a few things that we really appreciate about T-ROC and their process. Rob and Jesse have been 100% available any time of day or night to respond to any questions or issues that have cropped up. We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a response to a text message or phone call. They are always willing to meet us on-site to discuss ideas and logistics.

Additionally, we really like the transparent T-ROC process of breaking down the project into smaller pieces (i.e. electrical, plumbing, demolition, drywalling, etc.) and obtaining quotes from various sub-contractors for each piece of the project so we can ensure we are getting the best value and quality for each trade that they are bringing in.

We can't wait to see how our project turns out and look forward to finishing this review in a few months!

Jan 2016 we began the work to reno 2 bathrooms (gut and replace existing with upgrades) and it was completed Mid March. I purchased the vanities, tub, tiles , toilets , and plumbing fixtures. I give all the credit to Dennis Carvalheiro our site supervisor for the resources brought in and keeping the project on track. Our Trades were scheduled , did good work , and cleaned up after. They arrived on time worked hard thru out the day. Dennis had Symak available to do most handyman tasks and this man worked so hard. Any issues , touch ups , were dealt with fast and efficiently.

Had TROC come to install several ceiling lights and dimmers. Very nice guys, took extra time to ensure lights were flush and straight. Also advised us as to outdoor lights, making suggestions for what would work and what might be trouble. Very willing to work with our schedule, which made things easy.

Was our 2nd time using them, very happy.
