Backyard Window Wall Installation

We had our first experience with Magic Window Innovations and it was flawless from start to finish. We met Alex at the Fall Home Show and he explained the features of their products, method of construction and benefits of installation. We replaced our back French doors with a window wall; it arrived and was installed within five weeks as promised. Their techs (Ika and Soso) replaced the old doors with great care and cleaned up upon completion, leaving our house spotless.

Our window wall was purchased with the very secure triple lock system, but the only complaint I have is that it is very tight. A bit of muscle is required to close and lock the door but I was told that it will loosen up over time. If it remains this tight, this lock system may not be ideal for older people or younger kids.

All in all, it definitely wasn't our cheapest option, but for the quality, service and after purchase care offered by Magic Window Innovations, I would highly recommend this product if your budget allows for a higher end product.

Window purchase and installation

I recently had windows and patio doors installed by Magic Windows. I'm very happy with the look and construction of these windows. They are very sturdy. The installers were great, very respectful of my property and professional. They did a nice job of installation and of cleaning up after the job. I would recommend Magic Windows and I will be using them for my future window installations.

Patio door

We recently had a new patio door installed and were very satisfied with the service we had. The salesperson was helpful enabling us to define what we both wanted and needed. The installers arrived promptly at the time they gave us and were very quick and efficient in doing the work. They left the site in a clean and tidy state. We also had windows from Magic Windows that had been installed 10 years ago and needed some minor repairs under warranty and they completed these before leaving even though this work was not scheduled.

all windows replaced in townhouse

very good sales presentation, loved the fact that there is a 40 year warranty that can be passed on to new owner of house. Installers arrived on time, were very courteous, windows look great, and house feels warmer. Liked the fact that windows have something to limit the opening so that small children can't get out of them, when the child is older this limiter can be removed.

Replacement of Windows added Window wall

Had a great experience with magic window sales rep. He walked me through the whole process and was able to provide me with the insights I needed to make an informed decision. The windows are of superior quality and provided me with the peace of mind that I was making a great investment for me home. After meeting the sales rep I stopped by the showroom to verify everything that I was told in the initial consultation I had at my home. I was thoroughly impressed with technology and how smooth and easy magic windows work. I chose to replace my patio door with a 3panel window wall and it’s the best decision I made...it’s so cool and more functional than a traditional patio door.

Guelph Reno

My wife and I recently purchased a house in Guelph . A beautiful mid-century charmer that needed just a little freshening up. We decided to give Magic Windows a call. The company's rep came out on a Saturday, which was great as we both work and that was the only time available for us. Tom was a delight. He is very patient, helpful and really knows his product line. We ended up getting 11 windows and a window wall. The installers did an overall good job and left a clean site when they left. The fact the screens disappear into the frames so easily makes them a joy to use and beautiful to look at. We would highly recommend Magic Windows and in the spring will be ordering a few more for the back of the house. Peeter & Victoria

Update. The job is finally completed. There were a few challenges near the end of the project but the team that came out to do the repairs was very helpful. They explained what they had done clearly. We are very satisfied and plan to use their services again. Peeter & Victoria

Magic Windows and Patio Door Upgrade (many, many windows!)

We installed these a short while ago, and so far am very impressed. The windows look amazing, and almost immediately we noticed a reduction of street noise. The house also feels somehow warmer and better sealed. We have more light coming in now because of the way the blinds are stored away, and the solar/blackout screens have been great whenever we need privacy. You should definitely consider these if you are looking to make a change to your windows!

Re: the sales process, the company representative (in my case, Vysan) came to our house, was able to talk about the options and show how they compare to what we have. We also went to their showroom to see things in action.

After we made the purchase decision, everything went smoothly: the company sent us a sample to show our chosen colours, booked the visit, and they showed up right on time. We were doing a lot of windows and also our patio door, and things moved along quickly: 1 day to install, and the 2nd day to do trim and other detailing. Afterwards, they even came back to make sure that we were happy and do any fine-tuning and other adjustments as needed.

Window / Door Replacement

Our main goals in upgrading the 10 Windows and Patio Door in our house, were to save energy, improve our lifestyle, and increase the value of our home. When we decided that we'd need new Windows we determined that our process for buying them would be to get three quotes and evaluate each on merit. Price was a factor - but not the only factor - we did not want to be unhappy with our choice in a few years either.

We also did a lot of online research - meaning reviewing both Homestars and Google Reviews - but also we reviewed DIY websites to try and determine what goes into a quality window and what are the features we should be looking for. After getting the three quotes, and participating in the three presentations, we both felt that Magic Windows Innovations (yes - you need to search with the added word, "innovations" in Homestars to find it!) was the right choice for us - not too expensive (we had quotes that were 50% higher!) but with quality that will last.

Once our decision was made, we got in touch with Michele who was very helpful in providing advice and support both before making our decision and all the way through the process of getting the Windows installed. Michele had set our expectations during the original presentation, it would be around 4-6 weeks before the Windows were manufactured and ready to be installed. It was 4 weeks.

The two installers were very nice people and kept things very clean over the two days they were on site. They also went over the installation and use of the windows once the installation was complete. I am also impressed that Michele is coming over for a follow-up appointment to ensure that we are happy with our new Windows.

Now to the Windows themselves - One thing we noticed immediately, was how much quieter it is inside the house when the Windows are closed - we live near a main thoroughfare where trucks and loud cars often "used to" disturb our peace and quiet. It is now mostly silent - great for my work from home days too!

The wood framing around the Windows is so nice, we are still trying to decide whether or not to put our Sheers back up and cover them up! My daughter said the room looks new! The hideaway screens take a little getting used to - but once you do - it is great not to have screens there at this time of year (Autumn/Winter) - with the quality of the Window glass itself and the fact that there's no screen to blur the view, it's kind of like having a "High Definition" view outside in comparison to our old Windows. We're also happy not to have big wide vinyl frames in the middle of our Windows - the stainless steel inside the vinyl makes the Window strong enough to allow smaller width vinyl surrounding each Window.

The sliding door is nice as well with no screen in front and the lock allowing the door to be a crack open but still locked will serve a good purpose in the Spring and Summer .

Overall, our experience was - in a word - "seamless". We're very happy with our Windows so far. Nice work Magic Windows Innovations.
