BC Wide was hired to clean our ducts. They used a long tube, which had a significant tear in it, that vented to the side of our house. We were surprised by how fast the cleaning was and questioned to make sure he got all the vents. Fast forward 3 months when we turned the system on. Well... dust and reno debris have been coming out of the ducts for weeks, covering our floors and carpet, and there’s dust everywhere. There were also numerous attempts to sell us repairs and upgrades on our heating system. When we spoke to them about it, the woman who answered the phone basically hung up on us. My husband was very respectful and calm. She literally didn’t say a word. No apology, no concern. Just OK, then click.

Our apologies for this misunderstanding, when we spoke to your husband he said that he had hired another company to clean the vents as he was not satisfied by the work done eight months ago in October 2019. As we had booked this appointment initially for January, you where not finished renovations and moved to March , then due to the pandemic the appointment was moved at your request to June, we were surprised to hear that you had hired another firm and had no idea that you were unsatisified with the initial appointment. You can appreciate that during the time in between appointments the dust and debris would accumulate in the vents, which was the reason you had scheduled the second cleaning. We would like the opportunity to attend and address your concerns in person.
