Highly recommend Jason for any plumbing need. Very prompt, comes when he says he is going to and very efficient, getting in, doing the job and leaving the place neat and tidy. Seems to be capable of doing any kind of plumbing need from fixing leaking taps to installing hot water tanks.

I am writing this review to show my appreciation to James from A Better Way Plumbing. I had a very little water stain on my 12 fts high ceiling as we have a bathroom right above.
Firstly, we called ClearView Plumbing come in to take a look at and give a quote. The plumber came in and spent 30 mins on the bathroom and told us it is not the issue from the bathroom, so he needs to cut the ceiling open and take a look, and it will cost us $460 to just cut the ceiling open, and the fixing fee is NOT included whatsoever, and also he forgot to bring the ladder to reach the ceiling, so he needs to come back. After two hrs, finally he came back, but we decided not to use his service as it is absolutely ridiculers to pay $460 just cut open our ceiling, so we told them, we changed our mind, but we will pay the callout fee of 65 bucks, and he wasn't very happy about that and told us that we need to pay him $300 as he spent 2 hrs to get his ladder. Finally I had to pay $160 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING just to send him off.
Same day, I called A Better Way Plumbing and James took my call. He clearly explained to me what charge will be, what is the common reason may cause the water leak, and time he can come. Following Saturday, James showed up on time, and fixed my problem in 15 mins and also helped us to clean up the draining issue on my bath tub for only 65 bucks only as callout fee. I would definitely recommend him and the company to all my friends who will need a plumbing service! Thanks James and A Better Way Plumbing! You are the best way to go!

We had a leaking toilet and previously used Canyon Plumbing because they were used by our builder - we were not impressed by Canyon's last visit so I asked around and Jason was referred to us by a friend. He came the next day, right away discovered the problems and repaired them on the spot. Friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Great job.

Jason was recommended to me by my neighbors. I had him plumb in my kitchen sink, install dishwasher, faucet and couple of other jobs. He was very personable and friendly and did very good work. He was late on a couple of the visits where I had to text him to see if he was still coming. Otherwise I would totally recommend him (and have done) to anyone.

After several failed efforts to resolve a blocked drain line from my kitchen I called A Better Way based on the reviews here. My house is 60 years old, basement renovations have made the plumbing inaccessible and ad hoc accommodations were added over the years contributing to the mystery. A total of four visits were required to locate and resolve the blockage. Nathan spent two full mornings on site finally managing to clear the blocked line and create access points against all odds. He was friendly and showed endless determination and good humour. I would highly recommend this company.

Jason arrived promptly and completed the work and left a very clean worksite. Cleaner under the sink than it was before. He also fixed a loose faucet which was not on the original request. He has done work here before and is always efficient and very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.

Baffled by a gurgling toilet and no other symptoms within our older house, we called A Better Way Plumbing for the first time. They arrived on the scene on time and tried to solve our dilemma. After five visits to our home, ABW finally had to throw in the towel. They had determined there was something wrong with our sewer main, but couldn't solve it (though they certainly tried!). It was time to call in the city. With trepidation, we asked how much we owed ABW. We assumed, after five visits and multiple man-hours, that the bill would be astronomical. To our astonishment, Jason said, "There's no charge, since we weren't able to fix the problem." He advised us to call the city and consulted with them to finally get the pipes fixed.
We were so happy with the friendly and professional service we received from A Better Way Plumbing, that we ordered a new hot water tank from them and they installed it yesterday. Again, the work was done on time and with great humor and professionalism. We were charged exactly what was quoted and couldn't be happier.

Very Happy with the service. They showed up on time ready to work, did exactly what was promised and the final cost was as originally quoted (no nonsense). I will use there service again and would recommend to any one looking for a polite, professional, no BS plumbing service.

Dec 19, 2013--Update to our concern--Jason contacted us regarding how our situation was handled. He offered to pay for the second service call, which we accepted. We are very happy with the outcome.
I chose this company based on the very positive reviews. I have had a lot of luck with homestars before. I needed the shower head and the tub/shower faucet replaced. Originally, I had to phone twice in order to get a callback. When they did call back an appointment was arranged. The plumber came on time and was very pleasant and professional. He replaced the shower head but said that the faucet could not be replaced. Which is an odd thing to say as the year before, I had Pete the Plumber come in and fix the faucet. He had said at that time that this would be a temporary fix and the faucet would need to be replaced at some point. I called A Better Way Plumbing back twice. The first time I left a message and the second time I spoke with Jason. He said he would come out and have a look then determine what needs to be done. I have not heard back and it has been 3 weeks. So in the meantime, Pete the Plumber has come back and replaced the faucet. The reason I gave them 2 stars is because the work they did was done well but there the customer service ended. Maybe our job was too small for them, in which case they should have said something at the start. Unfortunately we had to pay for 2 different services calls when it should have only been one.
