Having just bought our house, and the previous owners having two large dogs, we wanted to get the ducts cleaned.Well worth it! The amount of dog hair was gross (Steve described one hair ball as the size of a raccoon), and he and Matt were both very professional and thorough. They recommended we have it done every 5-7 years (assuming no more giant dogs!), and gave us tips on how we may be able to reduce that even more. We appreciated that, as many other companies will recommend you do it every 2-3 years, which Steve said is purely cosmetic, and not really necessary. We wouldn't hesitate to use the Duct Cleaning Specialists again, and would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Sometimes duct cleaning can be done beyond the 5-7 years, but just to keep everything clean and efficient, that is a good time frame. You'll obviously want to have the system inspected, just to make sure it needs to be done before spending a bunch of money.
