I was very fortunate to be referred to Kingsway roofing. I had been searching for a roofer for quite a while, and was frustrated by the ridiculous quotes that I was getting. I met with Valeri and he put together a quote within a few days. Having done our research, it was not a difficult decision to go with Kingsway Roofing. They used the same or better materials as I had been quoted for by other "well known" roofing companies in Etobicoke, and for a fraction of the price.
On the job site, it was very evident that Valeri and Peter both take great pride in their work - not only do they ensure that things look great, but they make sure that is done right as well. This was also the general sentiment from the person that referred us to Kingsway roofing, and a different neighbour who we later found out had also used Kingsway Roofing.
They did the job quickly, with amazing attention to detail, and left the job site unbelievably clean - we have not found a single nail around the house, and I don't expect we ever will.
I would have no reservation referring Kingsway roofing in the future. Thanks for the great job!

- I was very frustrated by the quotes from other roofing contractors. They all wanted to get me together with my wife and sell us "peace of mind" - mixed together with their high pressure sales tactics, so that we would pay thousands of dollars more than was necessary. At the end of the day, you don't end up with any more peace of mind when you deal with companies that pressure you into anything. My rule of thumb is that if the quote "expires" when the sales guy leaves your house, then you don't want to do business with him anyways. Anyone who doesn't want you to have time to think about a major expenditure, like a roof, is trying to take advantage of you... so steer clear. If the quote is the quote, because the contractor is dealing with you on a straight forward basis, then do some comparison shopping and make a decision based on the quality / value combination.
