Work was completed on time a week ago. We are quite relieved to have had Poly B plumbing removed and replaced. The plumber has returned to correct several outstanding issues. The owner personally re-painted a problem ceiling area. Our concerns were dealt with very promptly. Overall, the work was of a reasonable standard. We would recommend this company.

I would like to thank Roberto for the timely and professional installation of the washbasin for me and my family. Although the work was quite impressive, everything was quiet and after the departure of the master everything remained as clean as before his arrival.

They installed a garburator and when hooking up the U bend created a slight leak. When I called to report the leak they went far beyond expectations to repair. Excellent customer service. I would highly recommend Urban Piping.

I reached out to Graham on a Thursday inquiring about Poly B replacement and Graham's passion for his work was evident. He outlined the difference in materials and installation techniques. We had him come out the following day (Friday) to walk through the project and give us a quote. His pricing was reasonable and he offered to start the project within a couple of days if it worked with our schedule. We decided to go for it and Graham and Jordan showed up Monday morning at 630 as agreed to get to work. This work was completed in September 2019.

They completed the project on time and on budget as agreed and did a great job overall. The only suggestions for Urban Pipe are the clean up could have been better as well as a few drywall cuts were unnecessary but not the end of the world. I would recommend them and use them again as needed.

Had Graham come to the house a couple of weeks back and would highly recommend him to anyone. He was able to call me on the weekend and give me a quote over the phone based on photos I sent which was a huge help.
He was professional, easy to talk to and did the job in a timely fashion.
Would definitely use Urban Piping again.

Plumbers have been swamped over the last week with Calgary's latest cold snap. Despite not sleeping last night due to emergency calls, Graham came to check out our issue. He explained the issue clearly and thoroughly. Turns out the solution was a very minor fix and he was on his way after a nice chat about his background and business model. We'll definitely be holding onto his business card. It's great to find local companies who care about quality work and customer satisfaction.

Had a very stuck/plugged washing machine drain pipe which caused a bit of flooding in our main story mud room/washing room. I posted a request for service on homestars and these guys called in seconds. Had Jordan come right away in less than hour. It seems to have been a ridiculously bigger than expected job. My guess and his is, gunk plus 4-5 days of -25 to -40 weather caused the blockage. He worked at it for about 2.5 hours but it’s all unstuck now. I have insurance coming to repair the damage to wall and basement ceiling drywall. Expensive, as all plumbing issues seem to be but the service was excellent and they came fast and he worked right up until it was fixed, leaving at about 7pm. Good work Jordan.

I do have a bit of an issue with being charged for the Drain Hydro Jetting and then for the Auger cleaning at $200 for the first and $250 for the second, when the first option did nothing. I would have preferred to pay for his time and he just did what he needed to do to get it fixed. Didn’t realize that two separate tools used were two separate charges.

Highly personable fellow. Professional and did work hard till it was fixed... and seems to have fixed our issue. Fingers crossed this weather gets out if the minus double digits.

Update: Graham and Jordan gave me a call and clarified the billing and I am happy with their explanation. Again, very happy with the service. Jordan did the jetting again after the augering to clean the pipes completely.

We called Urban Piping from a referral for some plumbing upgrades on an aging home. Hot Water tank, toilets, dishwasher and a shower upgrade. Graham’s customer service is excellent. The work was completed quickly and it was high quality. It was very reasonably priced. We will call Urban Piping again!

Graham and Urban Piping did a complete Poly-B refit of our newly purchased condo before move-in this summer. We were impressed with Graham's timely communication, his willingness to accommodate an extremely tight-timeline, and superior level work. It was hard to know where the walls and ceilings had been opened up in our place!

We liked the fact that Urban took responsibility for every aspect of the job from start to finish, rather than us having to deal with different contractors for the dry-wall repairs. We also liked the fact that Graham guaranteed the price, rather than just giving us an estimate. A second quote from a competitor was less, but they were unwilling to guarantee the price. The competitor also could not guarantee a project finish date that worked with our schedule.

I really can't say enough about Graham's communication and his bending over backwards to schedule the work last minute between our possession and move-in dates. You rarely find this kind of customer service in the trades nowadays!

The only negatives were an 8 out of 10 rating on the final clean by the maid service due to inadvertently leaving a second-story window open overnight (no rain, so no foul) and missing a few items including not cleaning the main floor toilet after the workmen were through.

However, since we were impressed with every other aspect of the job, we still feel the job merits a 10/10. We would definitely recommend Urban to others and use them, again.
