From the moment I called Mike at Toronto Home Theater I knew my basement home theater project was in good hands. I began my project foolishly thinking that I could create a home theater on my own and I quickly learned that this was a project for the professionals. I had made many mistakes and luckily Mike was able to come in and save the day. He nicely pointed out my mistakes and quickly had the solutions to fix them. Mike was professional, very knowledgeable and great to deal with at all times.

I consider myself very knowledgeable when it comes to technology, but if you want a proper, kick-ass home theater, call Mike.

Jeff really knows his stuff. He gave me good advice on how to get the most with my budget and plan for upgrades later. I get to snuggle with my kids to watch great movies and have date night at home.

Just had Mike and his team mount my 52 inch TV and hook up my surround sound and they did a great job. Mike was very professional and explained the entire process to me. I have very little experience with A/V and he as very patient in answering all my newbie questions.

I will be bringing him back to wire the basement in the very near future.

My wife posted a 10/10 review for Mike on Feb. 18, 2010 after the installation of our home theatre system. I would like to add that Mike came in approx. $200 less than his estimate.

Last weekend, one of our kids must have played with some settings on the receiver, and as a result no sound was present when watching tv. I sent Mike a message this morning explaining what had happened. Mike dropped by the house just a few hours later and fixed the problem in a minutes! Mike would not take any money from me for this visit!

Mike is super friendly, very knowledgable, and is honest - just call him and use his services...don't waste your time and effort looking for anyone else!

I had Mike come in and assess my layout and ideas. Once he got there, it was quickly determined that the setup I had in mind just wasn't feasible in terms of practicality and viewing pleasure. After some tinkering, we figured out something that would work and I coulnd't be happier with the outcome.

I took several quotes for my somewhat large job (installing a 32" Samsung LCD, two 40" HDTVs, and a 55" Samsung LED, all wall-mounted and all with cables concealed, as well as a new 5.1 surround sound system) and found Mike to be the most personable and honest, right off the bat. His work ethic and sound judgment were obvious throughout the job, he suggested workable solutions to unforeseen problems that arose, and he made sure that I was pleased with everything before he left. He has since made himself available should I need any help understanding some complicated programs -- above and beyond! Truly a delightful experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Toronto Home Theatre.

Called on a Sunday to leave a message. Mike called back within the hour and made an appointment to come over on Tuesday. He called 90 minutes prior to the arranged time to confirm that he was on his way. Set up the PVR, Blue Ray and universal remote + some add'l work on a second smaller system. Mike was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. He even followed up the next week to ensure everything was OK. Highly recommended.

I contacted Toronto Home Theater after a friend of a friend badly botched the install of my new TV and surround system at my house in Stoney Creek. There were holes in the drywall in the wrong places, wires run incorrectly and my wife was on the verge of meltdown; our house was a complete disaster. The old saying "You get what you pay for" was certainly true in this case. At my wits end and my wife ready to pack her things and move to the in-laws, I broke down and called in the professionals at Toronto Home Theater. Mike came to my house, assessed the situation and let me know what we needed to do to fix the issues. He made my wife and I feel completely at ease and in no time at all, my system was up and running. So often you run into contractors that rip you off, make a mess of your house and leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. Not the case with Toronto Home Theater. I would not hesitate to recommend Toronto Home Theater to anyone looking for a considerate, helpful and understanding contractor.
