He took a deposit did a little work and then ran away.
I tried calling him and he said he paid a little money and got what you paid for.
I told him you didn't finish the job. And he never replied.

We paid a deposiit of 25% for a side entrance to be put in our home over 4 weeks ago. The initial date to begin work was cancelled the evening before when I called to confirm.

Second date was then cancelled when he did not show up at the time he had given and i called to see why he had not arrived. We were given a story about medical issues with one of his tradesman and told that he would return our deposit as he was unsure of when the project could be started.

That was the last time we heard from him.

At this time, no work has been done on our home, we havent had any of our numerous phone calls and messages returned on both his cellular phone and the main business number, and our 25% deposit cheque was cashed about 4 weeks ago.

In a nutshell, our money was taken and we havent seen him again.

I am beyond frustrated looking for contractors in Brampton and when I finally found this company I was happy. But nevertheless it was a disappointment. I clearly told this person that I want the big work along with the small work at home, he clearly indicated he will quote for the small work by an hour and said he could do one day to do everything at all. I agreed mainly because there were so much handyman work at home to be done. Then he quoted to do the main work when we were away from home and completed it. We didn't even see him..he collected the amount required for the major job the previous day. Now it is 4 weekends after the main work and he keeps postponing the minor works I had to get done at home. Every weekend he mailed saying he is coming, then when we dont plan our saturdays he emails at 10pm friday night saying he cannot come the next day (I came to know when he didn't turn up on saturday for work).Now I clearly understood from the other review that he doesnt like to do small jobs. I hate finding people from craigslist and stuff because no one is professional enough to win customer satisfaction even after we agreed to pay for what he asked without any arguments or negotiations. Why these people disappoint nice people like us. If he was to do only the major work and was planning never to turn up for petty jobs inside the house I would have rather given everything to one person who deserves it.
I am deeply disappointed. Very poor communication mechanism (only emails instead of calling) very late notices on not coming.

Job started November 2011. It's now March 2012 and the job is still not finished....emails and messages have been left to see if it will be finished.....no response.... this has been our WORST NIGHTMARE.....we are still not sure if this contractor will finish the job or if we will have to get someone else.....the last payment that was made, that work still hasn't been done....still waiting.....we just wish he would get back to us and tell us if he is going to finish up the job or if we need to get someone else. He doesn't show when he said he is going to show up. We have emails that have been sent numerous times and still we haven't seen anyone show up. I spoke to his wife his secretary and she told me that because our job is not as big as other jobs basically it's not as important....can you believe it...WOW!! They are basically doin us a favour by taking doing this for us.

If anyone any any suggestions on what action we can take, please let us know. We just want this guy to finish the last payment we gave to him so that we can move on with our lives. If this is not done in a weeks time I will finish up my review........
