Bil Den No Longer In Business

When we bought our house in this area we knew that the roof on it was past it's prime. Since my husband was just about to head overseas with the military and we live in a heavy snow area of Eastern Ontario, we decided to go with a Metal Roof. From the different companies we contacted, we chose Bil-Den. The crew that showed up were courteous, professional and did an excellent job cleaning up (I had a toddler & 6 yr old at the time so very important that no nails, etc were left laying around!). Although the cost was higher than traditional asphalt shingles, it was worth every penny we paid and since the military is sending us to another area in Ontario and you can bet we will be getting another Bil-Den roof on the new house!!!!

Having a metal roof installed on your home is like putting a helmet on your house. Many of the homes in my neighbourhood have had new roofs installed yet none of them look as good as mine nor will they last as long. Yes, it is a lot of money to spend but down the road I am convinced that it will be considered money well spent.

The crew showed up on time every day, cleaned up after themselves, finished the job within the specified time frame and even installed more snow guards than was originally specified.

Our Bil-Den roof is a great feature to our outdoors. We are complimented on it regularly and it looks Stunning. Our roof is durable and strong and will last us a life time. We are really pleased with its clean slick curb appeal and it was money well spent.

We did a very extensive search with about ten different quotes before deciding upon Bil-Den. A steel roof is much more expensive than a standard shingle but well worth it.
Other houses in our 15 year-old neighborhood had new shingle roofs installed - the value of those houses remain the same - ours was worth much more with the steel roof.

We have loved our Bil-Den Metal Roof from the moment it was installed. Living in Northern Ontario is sometimes a challenge during the winter months and a heavy load of snow usually accumulates on our roofs. Every January or February we have a thaw or mild spell and all the snow built up on the roof with come sliding down but only where there are no snow guards. It never falls over doors where we have snow guards. Other families on our street climb up onto their roofs and shovel the snow off, but we do not have to! Many of our neighbours have stopped and asked us who did our roof because they love the look of our house now. The colour of the roof is so perfect to complement the brick and trim. We appreciate it more with each passing year. When it was installed one week before my son's wedding we were pleasantly surprised how efficient and fast the crew were and how clean they left the yard and grounds. They were finished in two days!We highly recommend a Bil-Den Metal Roofing system to any one who asks!

WE LOVE OUR METAL ROOF! We live up north with lots of snow, it slides off the roof rapidly, the snow breakers reduce the size of huge pieces falling. In the summer it cools down the house by not retaining the summer heat, and it looks great! Cedar-style shingles look great on a post and beam house!

Great professionalism from start to finish. The price was slightly less than competitors who quoted us similar products even though the bil-den product was superior or equal to in all aspects.
The installation crew were wonderful to work with,and kept us informed each step of the way. They were conscientious,courteous and above all very dilligent when it came to clean up of the property.
Our home looks great with this roof and we are extremely pleased.

After seeing the pictures and hearing about the features, I started to convert to metal shingles. Now that the job is done, I know that we made the right decision for several reasons.

The metal shingles look so appropriate on our house. In certain lights it even appears to look like slate. Many neighbours and friends have commented on how very attractive it looks.

The Bil-Den crew did such a professional job. They were meticulous at each step of the process and, we are confident, that their craftsmanship was excellent. Each day that they worked diligently and conscientiously making sure that every step of their work was done to the highest expectations. In addition, they kept the surroundings of our house extremely clean.
