just wanted to thank you guys for the great move . With all the horror stories out there we were very nervous about our big day. Sure enough as she said linda from earth star sent their best crew to move all our big furniture. The guys were great and helpfull they took care of all our special needs. They quickley eased our minds with their swift and professional work. They made the day quite entertaining and was a pleasure to watch them in action . They moved us from downtown toronto to mississauga in good time and they didnt even stop for lunch. and best of all the bill was just what i was expecting and no hidden costs(which we've had in the past)All in all i would recommend earth star mover's to everyone i know thats moving. Thank you linda for a great stress free day and a big thank you to phil and skipper you guys were great ..

The Move from Hell...

First they were a day early, then they were 1 hour and 45 minutes late. The only reason they made it to our house at all was because the driver called me and asked for directions to our address "We're on Queens Street", in Toronto?? I live in Oakville....

The movers were rude to my wife, to the supers at both buildings and incredible unprofessional, profane and inconsiderate of anyone around them. We felt like we were in an episode of Twilight Zone, it was ridiculous!! This went on all day long... One mover even put his foot through our wall, which they denied at first and eventually fessed up to!

I would not recommend these movers to anyone, unless of course they want a full day of abuse! :(

The company quoted us 4 to 5 hours, the movers took 9.

At one point early in the move, when asked why this was taking so long, the mover replied, "If you got paid as little as I do, you'd be moving this slow too"

At this point we have not paid the bill, we are going to fight them in court.

We are so happy with this company. The guys Skippy, Patrick and Phillip they are ammazing people. They did a great job, they are so careful and proffesional and took care in every thing that they moved. Nothing was damaged and everything went so smooth. They worked so hard and the company should be proud for such great and skillfull employees. I would highly reccommmend them. Thank you Linda for an easy transaction and for a very great service from your site as well. I just reccommend the company to one of my friend Jennifer and she end up booking with you for her upcoming moving. Thanks one more time guys. Good bless you.

I was nervously awaiting the day of my move for 2 months, however as soon as Bob and Rick showed up they put me right at ease. They arrived right on time (15 min. early in fact) assessed all my belongings and went right to work loading up the truck. Unloading at our new home went very well and nothing was damaged. I will definitely recommend Earth star to anyone!! Thanks again for all your jokes Bob they kept me smiling all day!

I could not have more pleased with the service I received from Earth Star Movers. I was dreading moving, and was apprehensive about hiring movers after hearing horror stories about movers who would “lose” or break items, or increase the price once they packed the truck. Based on a recommendation from a friend, I called Earth Star, and they very quickly put me at ease. The guys were incredibly friendly, professional, careful, and efficient, and there were no surprises with the pricing. Anything that I needed help with – taking things apart or putting them back together, changing my mind as to where things needed to go, etc – they cheerfully and skillfully took care of. They even helped me decide the best way to set up some of my new rooms!
There whole experience was great, from start to finish, and I would (and have!) recommended Earth Star to anyone who is moving. A HUGE thank you for making it so easy for me.

We had a move recently from Ajax to Kitchener and it was a great experience with Earth Star Movers! The crew showed up early and were very friendly, I was nervous about the move because iv lived in the same house for 30 years and didn't know what to expect! They put my fears to rest imeideitly by being very professional and kind! The move went great with no breakage over such a long drive and that made me happy! They also suggested I buy felt bottoms for my furniture which I didn't even think about! It was a very pleasant experience with lots of laughs! Thank you to the owner Linda for sending such fantastic movers, I would recommend Earth Star movers to everybody because they just don't tell you they care, they show you!! :-)

We are new to canada so we were nervous about using a moving company but after having read reviews on the net about this company, I can only say I am very GLAd that i chose Linda and her team. We moved from Maple to Markham with more boxes and furniture than you can imagine possible for a family of 6. The team was professional, treated our goods with respect and worked quickly.There were NO breakages or damages to our belongings I would definitely use them next year when our current lease expires.

I heard lots of stories about how moving companies rip people off, so I was nervous. Linda was honest and explained everything to me. The movers arrived when they said they would and they worked VERY hard! They worked quickly, but carefully, with my things. They were funny and made a stressfull situation simple, enjoyable even! I would recommend Earth Star, and the 2 men who moved me, to my family, and everyone!

We hired Earth Star to move us from our 2 BDRM condo + den to our new 4 level townhouse. The crew arrived early and checked in with Condo security. They quickly surveyed what needed to be moved and went straight to loading all items on to the elevator. We had used plastic wrap on most of our major pieces – however the crew still used blankets when move some of the larger items as an extra precaution. Even with all my stuff the truck was not even half full.

Our condo was located only 5 mins from our new townhouse, however the crew took a short break in between which was reasonable.

Our townhouse has 4 levels – so lots of stairs – but the crew unloaded and moved all the items in less time than it took to load them. A few little nicks and scratches on the walls – but nothing major and no damage to any furniture. Only downside was hardwood stairs were slightly scathed – Earth Star did provide hardwood floor runners – however they did not secure tightly to the stairs. I would suggest covering stairs with protective cover beforehand to avoid this – many of my neighbors had much worse damage caused by other moving companies.

I recommended Earth Star to all my neighbors and a few have used them and had good experiences aswell. I will used Earth Star again.

Oreo and co. did a great job with what they had and there were damages in transit to an end table and table but he offered a discount to cover. Linda reassured my wife that the 5 ton truck would be sufficient...her excuse was that we staged our house and therefore didn't need a bigger truck which doesn't make sense since most people don't throw these clutter items away...we couldn't get another truck and given the distance we couldn't afford another trip...we ended up renting a uhaul and all 14 feet was packed with items that couldn't fit on the truck...it ended up costing is the same as a more reputal moving company...her only words were sorry...we were moving from a 3 BR to a 3 BR and were reassured on two separate occasions that a 5 ton was enough and the movers also did a pre-inspection when they got there and never said anything until 45 minutes left where theove slowed to a standstill since they ran out space
