Energy Crew Moving & Transportation

Back in mid August, a good friend of mine recommended this company to me after the good service she received. I have to say that moving to my new apartment was quite relaxing. The team called to see if they could start a little earlier because their previous job went a little faster than anticipated, which was fine with me. Apart from the 3 wonderful movers that helped me move, I recommed them because I pretty much got what I expected, especially when it was time to pay.. They have a one hour minimal charge and then they charge for every half hour after that. Including taxes I only paid $339, exactly what they quoted. I didn't pay any extra whatever. This was very simple.

welcoming and understanding of my situation. I had a very small one bedroom move which my movers bailed last mintue.
two guys showed up and immeditaly got to work. i would highly recommend energy crew to anybody moving.

Energy crew is the worst moving company I've ever used. To keep it short, the movers were inexperienced, disgruntled, and rude. They attempted to plow all of my furniture into the truck to avoid multiple trips. Alot of the furniture ended up scratched and in some cases broken. Their lack of care for my things almost ended in a fight in the driveway of my new home. Their president of the company apologized for the behaviour of the movers and genuinely wanted to help fix things, but it was much too late at that stage.

You will save some money in using this company but it will never be enough to replace your damaged furniture. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

The three-man crew arrived on time, and the head guy was friendly. But overall, it felt as if the team was dragging out the move, and things were taking longer than they should have. What should have taken four hours took six hours, and we were hit with a bill more than $300 than we had planned on. Worst of all, the leg off my husband's favorite antique bench broke off. The head guy barely apologized and told us we could call the front office where they could glue it. (The guy's excuse? "Your chair fell on me" in the truck.) There were many scrapes on various wood pieces. And my husband's favorite cookie jar was shattered. We tipped, but not as much as I guess they wanted, because they were very sullen as they left, and we just felt crappy when it was all over. A very bad experience that just keeps getting worse, the more scrapes we find.

After hearing a lot of horror stories about movers and moving companies, I found it very difficult to decide who to trust. I finally found Energy Crew Moving & Transportation, and decided to take the risk. To keep it short, it couldn't have worked out any better. The team arrived on time, and performed the service well above our expectations. We moved into a 4 story townhouse, so this was definitely not a typical move. The guys even went above and beyond when our couch would not fit through or front door, they ended up taking it up a fire escape that was over 10 flights!!!

I would definitely recommend using this company again, and will be using them for my next move!

One piece of free adivice to everyone: dont be naive

into thinking that there's a company that cares more

about the customer than its own bottom line. IElse, youll always be used and abused and don't be fooled by any company, however awesome the pitch sounds. Really!!!!

That said, I think Energy Crew was worth the money I paid them. Beside the helpful and very educated phone agent (Ricardo???), they answered mys questions wit clarity and patience. I can be a pain in the b.... I Had a chance to go over the contract beforehand and almost everytin turned as they predicted. I paid slithly more, but I expected it since we made a stop on the way.

I'm not recommending them because they're the greatest. They're not! Honestly, no company really is. I simply think that theyre way beyond average and working with them was quite pleasant.

I would not recommend Energy Crew. They showed up late and were unapologetic about it. They didn't have all the moving material I requested. They weren't particularly careful and dinged some of my furniture and walls. They said that they only charge for the time they are there but conveniently rounded up by 25min which cost me an extra $75. Their customer service is better before you hire them than it is after you pay them.

I usually use a U-haul so I was abit nervous about cost and reliability when I booked movers. But after researching I decided to go with Energy Crew as they dont have fuel charges and other costs and they start the clock when they arrive so I would have a better estimate of total costs. My estimate was very good (actually 20 bucks over the actual move which was 280 in the end). I really liked the moving guys, Alex and Craig. They arrived on time and were cheerful and fun and treated our things better than we treat them. I even got some free plumbing advice at our new home:) So I was extremely happy in the end and very relieved that it went so well. I would highly recommend them again.

Energy Crew Movers were fantastic, the move was faster then expected and everything arrived in great shape. They were a little late, but the manager called to explain that it was based on heavier than normal traffice, and they were there shortly after. The took careful care of my things, and ensured that everything was properly secure. Price was extremely reasonable (less than quoted!) and the service was absolutely professional and efficient. The manager even called halfway through the move to check in on how things were going! I would definitely recommend Energy Crew to anyone.
