Took all the money never finished the job. Owe us about $12000. They have tons of alias's and have a huge pattern of doing this to countless other people. Stay far away. Dig deep to find more info on them

This company is fraudulent. Stay very far away from them. They are thieves, promising this and that, once they have your money, they won't come back to do the job. They are completely foul-mouthed, unprofessional, violent and vandals. If you leave them alone in your home to do a job, they will vandalize parts of your home they are not supposed to go into. They demand 50% before they even begin and once the rest before they finish and once they get the full payment, they are guaranteed not to return to finish the job. It's impossible to reach them to finish the job after that. Joseph has quite a scam going. He and his crew including Romando should be locked up behind bars.

never ever use Joe... he will never finish job...never pay him advance... he is full of crap...pretty scary......................................i hope it helps........i have no more to write other than bad words for him..please stay away from this company otherwise he would your life misearable

Do not be fooled by Joseph. Despite 'guarantees', 'personal assurances' and even a signed written contract Joseph and Custom House Painting proved to be unsavoury, incompetent and untrustworthy. Most work was of terrible quality. Most workers were foul-mouthed, sloppy, and disrespectful of my home and personal property. Cigarette butts and coffee cups everywhere. Washed paintbrushes in my kitchen sink! Scratched floors and dirtied a room they weren't even supposed to have been in. Turned my garage and driveway into a pig-sty. Did shoddy framing and dangerous electrical work that all had to be redone at my expense. A nightmare experience that I hope no one else ever has to experience. Do not let them anywhere near your property: they are vandals more than workers.

Joseph intially presented himself to be reputable with a great website, references, and storefront.
We paid him over half the money for the job up front and he has since not answered our multiple phone calls and messages to him to get our home finished. his workmanship is atrocious, worst painting we have ever seen! He has made our beautiful house look like a cruddy home painting job by a 10 year old! And he still has at least 75% of the work to do! stay far far away!!

The quality of the work was ok (not great), but Joe is they are the type of contractor that you hear reputable contractors like Mike Holmes complain about. They didn't finish the job and there were several minor problems with what they did do. Don't fall for the cash price offer either. My suggestion would be to avoid this contractor. There are other more reputable contractors.

I checked lots of references. It is a very good company. He took too long to complete the renovation and had too many "family" workers who chose their hours to work. Joe appeared to have trouble monitoring them.
