John was great! He was so thorough- he answered all our questions and made me feel very comfortable and assured that I was buying a good house.

I learned early on that an easy way to determine if somebody knows what they're talking about is in the way they answer questions. If somebody really knows their stuff they can answer any question in very short and easy to understand terms. He reassured us from the start that none of our questions were stupid, and gave us many tips for affordable and easy fixes to minor problems around the house. He went well above and beyond in the amount of advice he gave us about finishing the basement and other renovations, and even kindly contacted us after the inspection with info he had seen about a great sale on water softeners! We received the final written report very fast and we loved the fact that it included so many detailed pictures, with problem areas clearly circled in red. The pictures made the report so much more handy and clear. The report will be so useful as we move into our new home, and I'm sure we will refer back to it for many years in the future.
