I spent months researching window manufacturers and installers in the GTA area as my old wood windows had started to rot big time. Must have interviewed and gotten quotes from at least 8 vendors on the project. Finally selected Ambia not only becasue I found the Vinylbilt product that they sell to be a well built and most cost effective product in the market but also because Tony came across as someone who knew his stuff and wasn't pushing anything extra that I didnt need. The project was completed on time by Igor and his crew who by the way were excellent and Tony dropped by later to inspect the work. I like writing about projects where everything goes well and there is nothing to pin point. This was one of those projects. Only recommendation would be more drop sheets if possible. Overall I would highly recommend Ambia for the quality of the product they carry as well as excellent customer service and workmanship.

After contacting othe window companies and being disatisfied with their appointment follow-up I looked up Ambia on Homestars and called Tony. I am very impressed with Ambia. The service, communication, installation and window quality is better than expected. I will use them again.

We wanted to replace all of our windows in our 80 year old house. Our old windows were probably from the 70s and did not insulate well, were single pane, and rattled when we walked by. We replaced 6 windows and our garden patio door. The 6 windows installed look beautiful and the installation of the garden patio door required cutting dry wall to fit properly since the last door was installed incorrectly. Garden door looks amazing.

We obtained 3 quotes and Ambia Windows price was very competitive. Since the prices were very similar, the deciding factor to go with Tony and Ambia was (1) The quality and craftmanship of their product (lifetime transferable warranty+5yr installation warranty), (2) excellent customer service with Tony, and (3) very high rating on homestars. Tony seemed very honest when he met up with us and was a very nice man. Communication via phone and email was instant. The installers (Eugene and his partner) were on time, worked hard (only took a short lunch break), and cleaned up aftwards. Tony followed up with us after the install and came by to inspect the job and made sure we were satified. There were a couple of minor issues that came up and Tony rectified them very quickly and without issue. I will be recommending Tony and Ambia Windows and Doors to family and friends in the future. after a couple of calls, we selected this company because of positive reviews. the installers came on time. they were very nice and did a great job. they cleaned up everything before leaving. i will contact them again in the future.

His no-pressure salesmanship was a definite positive for me and he is a nice guy to deal with. The windows were ready within the time frame Tony provided. For installation, Eugene and his crew showed up right on time and they were very efficient. They removed my old windows and installed the replacements in no time. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Tony was able to come by the home (with his busy schedule) to have a look at the job before Eugene and crew completed the job.

After meeting and obtaining quotes from several companies, we decided to sign with Ambia for replacement of all of our windows, based on the interaction we had with Tony. He was patient, answered our slew of questions, did not pressure us to sign, and worked to get the project within budget. Compared to the other companies that we met with, Tony seemed to be sincerely interested in helping - including one company that tried to sign us up on the spot saying it would help save him time and effort by not having to come back and meet with us again to sign...not impressive. Eugene and his crew were professional and got the job done right. Due to some extra work required (which Tony did not try and charge us for, after the fact), they took three full days to finish the job. We are happy with the work and are glad to have our new windows in place for the coming winter. We would highly recommend Ambia to anyone.

Tony was very helpful providing me with many design and pricing options and addressing all of my concerns prior to, during and after installation. The installation was scheduled according to my vacation and cashflow plans which really helped out.
The windows and doors look fantastic and all I get from my neighbours are compliments on how good everything looks.

Ambia Windows and Doors were excellent. Tony gave me a quote on a new patio door (with installation) substantially lower than the other companies I talked to. The only catch was that the quote for a key lock for the door was a lot higher than any other company's--but when I mentioned this to him, he talked with their source and came back with a lower quote on the lock as well.

The door we needed was too big to be in stock (all the companies I called told me the same thing), but after I ordered, Ambia had the door ready a bit sooner than other companies I'd talked to said they'd be able to do it.

The installers did an excellent job, as far as I can tell. The deck outside the patio door, it turns out, is built up a little above the level of the door, so to remove the old door and install the new one they had to pry up a board from our deck. But once they finished their work, they put the deck back together perfectly. They cleaned up after themselves very well. (I found a couple of loose screws in my driveway after they left, but no big deal.)

Tony obviously has "customer care" on his mind: always very friendly on the 'phone, and accommodating; and he called back the day after the job to make sure everything was fine. It was! We're very happy with the work Ambia did--the door and the installation. Thanks, guys!

I enjoyed dealing with Ambia - they were recommended highly by a neighbour. They were the least expensive quote but i never felt like i was dealing with the cheapest option.

Everything went really well for us. the doors and windows came in earlier than expected and tony was fully flexible on the install dates. they were actually able to install earlier than we were ready for them, but they were fine with waiting.

Eugene was our installer and he was great. showed up when he said he would, he is professional and thoughtful, and he is magic with aluminium caps. He wants to know what you're not happy with and then he makes it right.

I would highly recommend Ambia to anyone. In fact i already have.
