We purchased spec-home and made many changes and updates, to fit our preferences, life-style and comfort. On final inspection (prior to closing), there were many issues with quality of workmanship, quality of drywall compound, painting, and variation of hardwood/staircase/fireplace mantle stain. There were also misleading/poor quality items/missing, not installing proper crown molding in kitchen, side panel, electrical code infractions, and installing less than standard central air-conditioning unit. Alter their usually ONE YEAR warranty, Terion protects builder, as a home owner you are the one, who have pay inspection fee, to keep fighting for the jobs to be completed (what should have done, prior to closing).
