We had a basic pond for seven years and asked Westney Landscaping if it could be re-designed.The result was that we now have four waterfalls instead of one;two streams one of which is "the rapids" and the clearest water I have ever seen in a pond.Even though we had little rain in the summer we did have three major rainfalls and the pond did not overflow its banks thanks to the french-drain that the company owner,Steve Handley,recommended and installed
Based on Steve's advice we planted annual flowers in the rocks, removing all dirt from the roots and they bloomed magnificently despite the heat wave we had in June and July 2011.
I would highly recommend Steve and his company if anyone is considering a water feature on their property.
