I have used this company twice before, and have now booked them for a 3rd job. I was completely statisfied with the work done. The second job involved assessing very old floor tiles in my basement living area. The owner provided me with a free estimate and advised the tiles were not asbestos and gave me reasons why.

I have read the negative reviews below, and in fairness, think you should judge for yourself. I had only a positive experience.

I'll keep this short because I believe pictures are worth a thousand words. I could go back and forth with the he said, she said but I can guarantee any potential customers that the only untruths are those of the company's owner. As you can see from Joe's previous review, we unfortunately had very similar experiences. Perhaps it's a coincidence but I still feel that any potential customers should know what they're getting in to. Previous customer reviews that were glowing were for simple vent removal, nobody can screw that up.

Attached are photos of the sections of our venting that were left behind in the garden. Also of the large pieces of the asbestos containing popcorn ceiling that according to the ministry of labour and several other abatement companies, should have been bagged WITHIN the containment. These pieces we scattered along our driveway which only lead us to believe they were not in fact disposed of properly.

We only write this response because we do not take our health and that of our family's lightly. If we go to the length of hiring an abatement company, we expect that the proper precautions be taken.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. After speaking to several companies about having a Type 3 removal of asbestos in our home, we decided to go with Terry. Worst decision. We told him exactly what and how we wanted it removed based on consultations with other companies. His crew came in and removed it only as a Type 2 meaning that the enclosure was taken down prior to post inspection. This meant that there were now potentially harmful fibres floating around our entire house. There was zero evidence of proper clean up and wipe down of any surfaces in the house. They left behind several pieces of the asbestos material along our driveway and in the backyard where our dog picked a piece up in her mouth. The purpose of spending the money to remove the toxic material from our house was to make it safe. Terry and his crew came in and did the absolute opposite. Absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed that company would carry out business in this manner.

This company was did not do my asbestos removal job correctly. They treated the friable material that I wanted removed as non-friable and they just ripped it out. There is no evidence that they covered anything on the first floor of my house or in the unfinished basement that I use for storage and laundry. Better yet, I found large pieces of the asbestos material in my basement that just fell to on top of clothing, books and my little children's toys. They also left pieces of the asbestos in my heating ducts to blown throughout the house. I've now had to hire another firm to clean up their mess. They offered to do it, after failing to do it twice, both times they tried I found more pieces of asbestos after they left. They have told me so many conflicting stories about how they did the job at my house that I can't trust them to clean it up right. Hiring them is not worth the risks, in my opinion.

Terry and his crew provided a very prompt and efficient service, arriving on time for both the estimate and to carry out the work. Their price was good too. They were recommended to me by my Home Inspector, and I would certainly be happy to recommend them myself.

Terry removed asbestos from the heating pipes in my basement. The job was done quickly, promptly and professionally. He took 1 minute to give me an estimate and removed it all in 2 hours the very next day. His prices were unbeatable! He has been in the business for 25 years and has a team that works with him. Highly recommended.

These guys were fast and friendly, and set up the full HEPA filter and enclosure within the house. Price was for three ducts (each one storey high (9') and 1 register wrapped in asbestos paper. They missed one small section but came back to remove it for no additional charge.
