I had York West redo my driveway after I had my sewage connection replaced due to root issue. I called these guys based on the fact that a friend had used them, and the fact that they do nearly all the driveways in my area. I wish I had known about this site first....
Issues with the job:
- They were totally careless when they removed the existing driveway. It seems the ripping out of a phone line is no big deal. Unless of course you need your phone line to do business....
- They were actually able to damage my front porch - and never bothered to repair it. Even after I complained.
- They didn't actually put down the required depth of asphalt that was agreed to. In spots the asphalt it only 1 inch thick.
- They didn't remove all of the old material at the back of the drive...they just put a thin layer over top. One year later? It's failing.
- They paved over one of my clean outs for the mainline. They said they'd come back and mark it so I'd know where it was....still waiting Remo.
- Remo is a great, slick, smooth talking salesmen....and boy - did I ever get sold.
If you need a new driveway - don't call these guys. The price was reasonable I suppose - but the quality of the work was subpar.
