Canadian Plumbing & Electrical

In late 2019, there was an issue with my furnace kill switch which randomly powered off the furnace. I called Canadian Plumbing & Electrical and an electrician (Andy) was dispatched. He diagnosed the problem to an old faulty switch which he suggested replacing. Unfortunately he replaced it with a surplus(?)/faulty switch that neither stays on or off and the problem still exists - the furnace's power supply is still faulty due to the switch and in the following winters I'd sometimes wake up to a house that is almost freezing - currently the fix is to go downstairs and toggle the switch until the furnace comes back on. Not satisfied, I emailed Andy to get it addressed but never got a response. I called later and did get a call back but the man working there was pretty aggressive with me saying they couldn't guarantee the work as it was done about 2 years previous, even though in my mind a switch should be good for years - especially one that doesn't get cycled much. So if you want to pay an electrician $350 to NOT solve your problem and then get hot abuse from them when you ask to have it fixed, call these guys. T

They (Andy) did a great job of installing our washer, dryer and basin as well as new lighting in a rather tight space with its own unusual challenges. Andy was polite, punctual, and professional.
