Where are the negative stars coz zero stars is too much ? Youngs told me they needed three parts to repair my fridge but only had two of them so Id have to wait for the third part to arrive. (Apparently, this is what they say on a regular basis.) Weeks go by I checked and the parts were ALL available for next day delivery so I called them. They didnt answer the phone (again, this is how they operate - they never answer the phone) so I left a message but they never called back (and yes, this is also part of their playbook). I emailed guess what ? Yep, they dont respond to emails. I called many many times over the next few weeks and one time a woman answered the phone. She told me that Purolater were coming right now with the part and shed call me right back never heard from her again. So I called Whirlpool coz the fridge was under warranty and Youngs is their guy in Ottawa. They told me the parts had never been ordered and placed the order so we cancelled our family Christmas dinner coz we didnt have a working fridge and I gave it a week and called again. No answer, no response to messages I left, no responses to my emails. I called Whirlpool again and now they cant get them to answer the phone either so they referred it to their territory manager. A day later a woman from Youngs called to say they had the parts and they were coming tomorrow but then they called in the morning to cancel (so that was a wasted day for me) but said they would come next Monday. I was working in Montreal for a few days but I took another day off work and drove back to Ottawa to be home by 7 am. Guess what ? They didnt come. I called them at 9 am but they didnt answer the phone. Another wasted day for me and 400 kms of unnecessary driving. Never heard from them again. So I called Whirlpool again and they told me Youngs had said the job had been completed. (What the .. ???) Another few days of back and forth with Whirlpool and even Whirlpool gave up on Youngs ! Whirlpool decided it was best to just delivery a new fridge to me than try and get Youngs to fix my fridge. Were waiting on that delivery now Its going to be weird having a fridge again after 3 months.
