Required a new 200 amp service upgrade from old 100 amp fuse panel (some aluminum some copper). Decided to go with Captain Electric based on many great reviews and they have also done work in our neighbourhood. Kevin and his team were great, did an excellent professional install. Also went with whole house surge protection. A bit pricey however well worth the service. Highly recommend.

Increasing the service size to 200 Amp is also a very good idea, especially when thinking of future additions, such as an in-law suite, rental apartment, or Electric Vehicle Charging Station.
