My husband and I purchased our first home through Stepper and we've been happy with the whole process! While it was a spec home, in the few months that we've lived there, Stepper has been really responsive with any questions that we've had, and has been prompt to fix any issues (although sometimes the contractors have had to come back multiple times).

I really love their family-culture - from the house-warming present of a handmade quilt from women in south america, to the photos posted of staff building houses in a community there, Stepper employees have heart. Yesterday, we even got an invitation for an appreciation event! I don't know any other home-builder in town that would do that for their clients.

Stepper Homes has been the best builder that I have purchased from. Good quality house including in house fixtures. The employees at Stepper homes are outstanding. The service has been excellent. Thank you Stepper Homes!

We have had a wonderful experience building with Stepper. Big shout out to Mary, Tyler, Carol and Matt! They have made our Stepper experience incredible. We were extremely happy with our house and all of the details inside. If we were ever to build again, we would choose Stepper. The building process went very well and all of the walk throughs were detailed. Thank you Stepper for making our first home an incredible experience!

A bad experience is going on. We moved in more than 3 months ago and there are a lot of deficiencies which have not been fixed and reported 2.5 months ago.
1. Paint. It was promised was going to be fixed week after possession. My house is still full of green tape
2. Finishes. Awful
3. Electrical. Receptacles are not flush, panel was not marked correctly. We paid for a sound rough-in that is not marked and the pipe to TV is clogged (electrical fish tape does not go through)
4. One of the heating pipes was not connected to the main. Ups…it was fixed after 3 weeks.
5. I got a walk up basement and stairs were installed after 2 months and I got an small accident.

This is the third new home that my family has purchased directly from a builder. During the inspection I was stunned at the build quality of the home. Great care was taken on even the smallest joint. In addition, quality pieces were used throughout the house from the doors to the mouldings.

Making our experience even better was the great service we've had after taking possession of the home. The guys at Stepper really go out of their way to help in any way possible.

We decided to build a new house with Stepper Homes because their show home at Evansview was so beautiful and its floor plan with available options was exactly what we wanted. We had a pleasant experience with Stepper Homes right from beginning of signing contract, through construction, up to house possession and warranty maintenance.

We signed the agreement just before the increased price was applied. But the price in the agreement was calculated with the new increased price because their system had been updated with the new price due to the coming statutory holiday. We had no knowledge of the price increased. Maureen, the sales of Stepper Homes, honestly told us what had happened and had the price corrected. Maureen and Ingrid were very patient and knowledgeable to help us choose various options to meet our expectations with a final perfect touch by Cayley whose professional expertise and taste gave us very good impression. During the construction Remi, Construction Supervisor of Stepper Homes, always answered our questions promptly. By the possession day, Remi and his team fixed all the listed issues found in the pre-possession walk through. We believe the house was built in good quality. So far we only found a few small issues. When talking about warranty, the Service on Demand is a very easy and friendly system to report the issues to be fixed. Recently we reported two issues with the Service on Demand. Andrew, Customer Care Supervisor of Stepper Homes, came and fixed the issues, and he also nicely answered all our questions and concerns. All Stepper staff we met are very nicely and helpful.

We definitely would like to recommend Stepper Homes to our friends if they want to build new houses.

We decided to build with Stepper Homes because Maurine and Matt were very knowledgeable and helpful. We didn't feel rushed or pressured in the purchasing process. They were able to answer all of our questions and showed us the best options for us in the price range we were looking for.

Worst Experience still going on. During final walk through so many issues we found which they still haven't resolved untill now after 1 month of possession. They told me that all will be fixed by your possession. Have to live with everywhere all kinds of stickers marked for fixing still after 1 month of possession. No powerd wash home from outside before possession still waiting for it. During possession day people are working till late evening.

Throughout the whole building process Stepper has been great to deal with. From the sales team at the show home to the office staff at their head office. We have loved dealing with all of the sales team at Stepper but especially have to mention Matt and Maureen, who have been a pleasure to work with and are a credit to Stepper Homes. We have sailed through the construction with hardly any issues, unlike our previous build (not Stepper homes) Remi and Jared, our construction contacts have been excellent to deal with, responding quickly to any questions we had. We are very impressed with house on our possession date and are loving our new home!

My wife and I had an excellent experience with Stepper Custom Homes. The sales team was great and really understood what we were after and at no time did I feel like we were being "upsold" or rushed to make a decision. The build quality is top-notch and we haven't had any significant issues. Any (small) issues we have come across has been very quickly and competently dealt with. Their service team (Matt George) is amazing! What a pleasure to deal with this guy, and their service on demand system makes completing any home warranty issues incredibly simple and quick.
