Lookat these pictures which show how bad quality concreate Rohit use. Even show home has the same problem.These are pictures of brand new house's driveway that I moved to after 3 months.  I have been asking to replace the half of driveway from only 3 months I moved into new house .Even though my whole driveway had problems, Rohit concreate contractor replaced the half of driveway withoutany explanation. At the same time, 3 Rohit new houses had the same problem, so they replaced whole driveway which was as serious as my driveway. Do you think they dealt with it fairly? Those all driveway were defective obviously. After complaining to the contractor, their boss (Mar**) promised to fix properly. But theydid not show up and broke their word several times. Eventually ,They fixed it four times for spring time and failed forwinter. the contractor, their boss already knew this fact that defective driveway can not berepaired . Keep in mind that Rohit and Rohit contractor have never been completingthis issue more than 3years

6 year old house. Siding on firewall totally loose but Rohit says it was installed correctly. Do not deal with this dishonest company. 3 Siding companies have said this was not installed correctly. But Rohit says I have to pay to fix their bad work.

Rohit is just taking advantage of the situation with the real estate market now. Last Sunday, we did got to the showhome in Edgemont East. They have a house that is priced $415k with upgrade side entrance and water line for the fridge house that was suppose to be built September 3. We were closing the deal today and their agent came back saying they can't honor the price they have last Sunday as it is a "system glitch" and the house was priced wrong as their system did not add the upgrade. It was not the customer fault your system is crap. VERY UNETHICAL. WE TRIED TO TRUST YOU GUYS EVEN YOU HAVE BAD REVIEWS BUT YOU JUST PROVE THEM RIGHT! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO BUY A HOUSE!!!

We made the mistake of entering into a contract with Rohit to build us a townhome in their Keswick neighbourhood (an area they state they are both the builder AND developer in).

We patiently waited five months at which point, not only had they not even started building our home, but we received a letter from their legal team stating they would simply be voiding our entire contract due to an inability to build on the land for “reasons”. Reasons they did not provide us, no explanation was given beyond that.

Is it a coincidence that we purchased right before lumber sky rocketed and suddenly what we paid them to build our home wasn’t so attractive to their wallets anymore? I doubt it.

I put in a call to their legal department asking for more details and they informed me there was someone with “an interest” in the property holding up the development of the lot we had paid them to build on.

I asked them how long they’d known about this obstacle, and how long the interested party had been holding up the build process. They stated they knew of the issue for 6 months (ALMOST TWO FULL MONTHS BEFORE WE BOUGHT). When I asked why we were not informed of this issue when we purchased the legal rep told me, and I quote, “we just assumed it would get worked out”. You work in legal. It’s not your job to assume a resolution will take place, and a consumer has the right to know a lot they are paying money for is currently contested land that can’t be built on!

So to recap, Rohit took our money in January for a lot they knew could not actually be built in, told us nothing about the dispute for 5 months while our money sat in their accounts, then with zero warning, voided our contract, offered us a measly $300 in interest (over 5 months) and said good luck.

I repeat. They knew about the issue before we bought, knew about the issue while we waited, and at no point were we informed until it suited them to terminate our contract.

Meanwhile home prices as we all know skyrocketed so comparable units are now selling for about 35K-40K more than when we purchased. But hey, at least we made $300 right?

Avoid them at all costs.

Purchased a townhouse from them. During the building process everything was great. Good communication with for foreman. (myself worked in the building industry- rebar for more than 10 years.)

So 3 months walk-through the rohit on-site staff said they will fix the crack on my garage floor right the way and I said let it settle a bit and fix it at 1 year coz concrete will need some more time to fully settle or it will just crack again. The garage floor is also the foundation as well.

Then I submitted my request through the warranty site and the pandemic hits. The whole thing sink like stone and rohit just missed the request totally.

Then I followed up a few month later and their warranty team just rejected the request said those cracks are within the limit by looking at a far away pic. My conclusion is Rohit doesn't care about warranty. Spend your money somewhere else.

Horrible, customer service. I saw some reviews before. They are worst and even in covid situation will not accommodate request for possession date. Its like you have to take possession on their date and time and no other date options provided. I see someone else also had similar experience.
Very very very poor service and don't care about client.

Fantastic experience! Working with Karen from the beginning of our build was so good. Karen kept us up to date on the build of our town home with pics and answering questions weekly. We love our home and any issues have been dealt with promptly by Site Supervisors! Rohit's design concepts are wonderful; we have Contemporary classic and it is beautiful! Bravo Rohit!

Worst customer service. Do not take into consideration customer concern.
After charging so much money for house, do no accommodate client request. Very rigid with possession date and even time. Its greed for money from builder.
Work quality also not up to standard. Please do not buy Rohit communities house - very unprofessional.

Daphne and Maryssa were wonderful to work with, Daphne's prompt responses and depth of knowledge really made a first time homebuyer's experience extremely comfortable. Questions ranging from simple things like what I should expect from my home and more complicated issues like property issues, Daphne was able to answer with ease and clarity that put me to ease. Truly first class service, I worry about the day that her and Maryssa are done with the Bellerive landing and are moved somewhere else in the city.

Worst services ever. My heating didn’t work in the very first year, and it still has problems. Main door has gaps in the corners so the leaving room becomes really cold in the winter.
