Stoneworks Plus

After researching and obtaining a number of quotes we landed on Stoneworks Plus and have no regrets. We had a plan sketched out and this was all Gerald and team needed to work with. His interpretation and execution of the plan are testament to the number of projects he has done and experience he brings to the table. Gerald is also hands on - something we were looking for. As a result he knew what would and wouldn't work.

Once Gerald and team were lined up to start our project, the effort went relatively quick. Gerald and team were punctual and made sure everything was right. Once the work was complete, we were pleasantly surprised at the final price. Gerald also came back a year later to correct a small issues that only showed after a long settling time.

We will be looking to use Stoneworks when we get around to doing our front porch and walkway.

This is my second project with Stoneworks Plus and the service and quality of work is phenomenal. It is an established company with a long history of quality work, honest quoting and exemplary work ethic. Gerald is a professional who arrives on time, quotes accurately and finishes the job when promised. We were so very pleased with the outcome of our first project and even more so with our second project. Highly recommended on all fronts.

Gerald worked with us to develop the plan, and select the materials, and timetable. All of this was done really well due to his expertise and experience and also patience! Once done this phase, the actual construction started, every thing worked really well...the site was kept safe and neat, our changes on the run were made with co-operation and understanding.

My husband and I LOVED Gerald (head contractor/business owner), who walked us through the addition of our front and back patio stonework from start to finish. We didn't even really knwo what we wanted at first - on his first visit he came to look at our space, recommended a number of layouts and kinds of stone he could use, and showed us a catalogue with many options for different stones and finishes. He told us where to go to look at actual samples of stones and the different colours/patterns in which they were available, and he gave us as much time as we needed to decide on what we wanted. Stoneworks finished the jobs on time (as projected) and within quoted budget. We would use them again every time.

Gerald and his team were professional from start to finish! Gerald provided a plan for our new entrance way and garden and was very open to our suggestions. He was honest about labour and pricing for using new vs existing stones and in the end came up with a great solution for using both. We used the existing stones on our driveway and pool surround but after they had been lifted, cleaned up and replaced they looked like new. He provided an accurate time frame for starting and finishing the work and once his team started the job at our home they were committed to us until the job was done. They are extremely hard working, committed to getting the job done and provide quality workmanship at a competitive price. Neighbours and friends continue to provide compliments on our new entrance way and garden, and some have requested Stoneworks Plus’ contact information and followed up with their own projects. We would highly recommend Stoneworks Plus to anyone considering landscaping with new stonework or refreshing existing stonework.

Gerald and his crew did a fabulous job! They worked from a plan they did not prepare and completed it perfectly. I also asked him to do the front steps and additional landscaping after they had already started....which was not a problem! He answered my questions and made minor changes that I requested. His quotes were prompt and what he quoted is what we paid.
He was recommended to me and I am better than pleased with the work. His work has also attracted the attention of many of my neighbours. This was done in the middle of the fall of 2008 and we can hardly wait to enjoy the patio this spring and summer.
