Look no more! I am recommending Traditional Hardwood Flooring for any and all of your service needs. I contacted Balazs Keppel, the President of the company, when I had a disaster occur with the sealing of my newly finished maple flooring. The surface looked like 'orange peel', blotches all over. Add to that, it was not smooth and generally ruined the look of the wood. I was distraught. Fortunately, on checking out craftsman who are recommended by Bona products, the great sealer that was used, I contacted Traditional Hardwood Flooring. WOW! I never would have thought the floor could end up looking like it does now. It is perfect! So smooth, that you would not even know there was a sealer on top. It just makes the wood look like it has a beautiful natural glow. Balazs, on meeting with me, explained exactly why my floor looked as bad as it did. Simply put the contractor did not know the correct protocol to finish the floor to standard. (Bona has training programmes to ensure contractors follow their guidelines.) Everything Balazs said was wrong he put right! Add to that, his caring and personable approach, made me feel comfortable that my floor was in good hands. I am a designer, so I set a high standard for work performed. As you should too. Traditional Hardwood Flooring, will not let you down. Balasz and his team did an outstanding job of the repairs required. My floors looked amazing after a thorough and professional cleaning and my new staircase was stained to match my existing hardwood exactly. Work was done quickly, with no mess and Balasz went out of his way to work around our busy schedule. Excellent job!

Balazs and his team installed and site-finished white oak on our entire main floor. Originally we were not sure if we wanted to go the site-finished route, but after doing some research and talking to Balazs, we were convinced. Now that the floor is completed, we couldn't be happier - it looks absolutely fantastic. We went with a natural colour and a matte finish to enhance the appearance of the wood. There are virtually no gaps between the planks, and the floor is so solid, smooth, flat and even. They did a great job securing the subfloor prior to installing the wood too. It used to squeak quite a bit but is solid as a rock now. Balazs uses high end sanding and other equipment and only top quality Bona finishes. He also gave us many tips and suggestions to consider since we will be doing some other tiling projects and he made sure the floor thresholds would accommodate these. He and his team were very professional, on time, courteous and friendly. They kept everything very clean throughout the install, with very little dust. The smell from the finish was actually not very strong at all and dried quicker that we expected too. Balazs is very passionate about what he does, and this is very evident in the quality of his work. I'm sure we could have paid a bit less if we went with a pre-finished floor elsewhere, but for only a small amount more we got a very high quality floor that is no comparison at all. It was worth every penny. I'd highly recommend traditional hardwood flooring to anyone who wants a high quality site finished floor. Thanks again Balazs!

Balazs refinished several hardwood floors in my home 12 years ago. I kept his card and called him to do some spot repairs where we damaged our floors from dragging furniture. We are moving and wanted to "stage" our home. Balazs remembered me after all these years, was happy to come by and do the repairs, which really is an imposition on his time on a full day job. I was so impressed with the level of service. He suggested the repair would be very noticeable and may not be a good idea. He showed me by actually beginning to patch gouges and I had to agree. He took it off, and there was no charge for the service call at all. Clearly after 12 years he had left a favourable impression and his current level of service and friendly manner embellished that positive experience. Highly recommend.

Balazh and his team from Traditional Hardwood Flooring ripped up the laminate in the living and dining room and installed beautiful oak hardwood flooring. They also refinished the hardwood in our family room. Their work was fantastic and they were very professional. They were prompt, very clean and provided fair pricing. I had the work done 3 years ago and it still looks great! I would highly recommended Balezh and his team.
