Furnace and boiler repair

Our furnace quit working when the temperature dropped to -25 C. I called Knight and they tried to get someone out that night, but they were swamped. Fortunately I was able to get the furnace working intermittently. The next day I called again and they dispatched George. He arrived at the agreed upon time and figured out what the problem was. It was an electrical control panel that was falling apart. He was able to get it to work (sort of) until a new part could be ordered. I just had to keep wiggling a wire to get heat. This was all on Tuesday. On Wednesday, George brought the part to the house and installed it. It turned out to be the wrong part (one digit different). However, he was able to make the old thing work adequately. On Friday morning, the part arrived and we agreed that he would come out at 4:00 to install it. Coincidentally, on Friday morning the boiler stopped working. Now I was really screwed. I called him to let him know and he called me back to ensure me that he would fix that too. He showed up at 4:00 (as agreed to) and fixed the furnace and the boiler. I thought everything was fine. Then Sunday morning, the furnace completely quit. It was dead! I texted George, not confident that he would respond. He responded in about 2 minutes. He ended up walking me through a diagnosis and we were able to fix the problem. Everything seems to be fine now. Thank goodness George was the guy they sent. He is friendly and responsive and goes out of the way to make customers happy. (If my furnace breaks down on the next couple of day, ignore all the good things I said, except about George.)
