Furnace motor replacement

I had the motor for my Carrier furnace replaced- it was making a loud grinding noise. The tech, Mr. Shank, was very good, I had no issues with him whatsoever. He was excellent!!
The cost was good. No issues.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?

Furnace motor replacement

I had the motor for my Carrier furnace replaced- it was making a loud grinding noise. The tech, Mr. Shank, was very good, I had no issues with him whatsoever. This review should not reflect negatively on him. He was excellent!!
The cost, however, was not so good.
This was a replacement done under warranty and still cost me 566.00. The part only took 1/2 hour to replace and the tech had the part with him. This was all payment for Knight Plumbing's time for travel, I even had to pay for 1 hour of travel time to return a broken part to someplace??? Never had to pay for that before, from any company. As much as I like the company tech's, I'm not sure I'll be able to afford any more of there time. How would you feel if you had to pay 566.00 for warranty service on anything you owned?
