We recently purchased a home in Brampton, and so far, everything has been fantastic; from the staff to the quality of the house, my family could not be happier. I would strongly recommend this builder to anyone who is looking for a beautifully crafted new home.

I bought a Royal Pine condo in Stoufville as an investment property. I am currently renting it out and although I don’t live there I have had many positive customer experiences with them. Any time I have an issue at the condo everything is always taken care of. My tenant had an issue with their balcony door and they went there and took care of it right away. They even took covid protocols very seriously and my tenant was very impressed by their safety protocols during this time.

I’m am very satisfied with the overall customer service and support I received throughout the building process. I love my home! The materials are good quality and it look very nice. Thanks Royal Pine.

I purchased new home from this builder 6 years ago. House shingles started falling apart/breaking down in four years. I called builder office. They gave me a phone number of the company who installed shingles. I contacted them and they asked me to send pictures of roof from all angles and 2 strips of shingles so that they can evaluate what type of work they might have to do (In my opinion, this way one way of saying “NO”, as I had to hire someone to meet their requirement). Instead of hiring someone to take pictures of roof from all angles and remove 2 strips, I got the shingles fixed by myself and 15/20 year warrant was not honored.

Royal pine is the worst, have so many prombles first the water form the ceilimg started to leak than they have door knobs that keep falling of the door and they tell you to tighten it and when they said someone over to come look at it the guys very rude if im buying something form you i expect it to be perfect , i recommoned noone buying form royal pine because youll have problems for the rest pf the time you live there

This is my first purchase of a new build. From the sales office (intercity realty) to the Decor centre, it has been an excellent experience. The owners are more than accomodating, and the Decor centre manager (Laura) is famtastic. Everyone is very personable and helpful. They use QTK kitchens which was also a trouble free experiemce.

The previous reviewer had problems with decor centre pricing. You have to remember this is a conpany that still is looking for a profit. If you can get a door handle at lowes for $300, why would the builder charge the same? Obviously there is a mark up and if you are not prepared for this, than youre simply not that bright.

since this was my first home purchase, i has a visit to the decor center with my 10000 credit. with few changes it was all gone. it wast even any huge upgrade, like the usual things. the central vacuum some home ended up in the basement as standard. to move that it was 350 why would it be a charge to move when i am getting a home that is being built. for these builders over marginal profit doesn't stop here. Exterior door handle i was quoted a crazy 700 for upgrading at Lowes its under 300 bucks. i can sit here and go on and on. please please before you sign anything visit the decor center to see if prices are reasonable. this is a very good setup to squeeze every bit of money from your pocket.

We booked new house & still in the process of upgrades & construction. At the time of purchase the sales person told us the builder legally can do a one time change of closing date for up to 4 months. But in reality the builder sends a letter with change in 1st tentative closing , 2nd tentative closing & firm closing dates. This is BS & we are still seeking legal advise on that. Don't ask about structural & decor upgrade appointments. The reps are not professional, no wonder the upgrades pricing is very high compared to other builders (compared with friends who bought from other builders viz., sq ft to sq ft , apple to apple) non-transparent pricing. They don't even show a price list, they just tell you. They tell you all kind of stories if you start insisting to ask for price lists. We are still in the process of getting correct pricing. They gave two different prices for same products & when questioned changed them to lowest. So if I did not question I would have got ripped off. Still negotiating. Please check back for updated review. Hope it will be positive. We strongly recommend, do your home work before getting into agreement with this builder.

We were promised this home would be built by December 2011, then April 2012, then August 2012, now December 2012....They havnt even applied for the permits to build yet!

The head office lady is rude, the company refuses to take responsibility for the delay, and they couldn't care less about the customers.

The finishings are cheap, so you are forced to upgrade (with their products) of course.

I am worried about the quality of my house since they havn't even started yet and this is how it's gone so far!!!!!!

They are quick to take your money, make promises that they know are not truthful, and very quick to become rude and defensive. However nothing else will be done quickly.

My requests for after sale service were ignored or not completed:
1. Stairs were screwed during the construction and hasn't been fixed yet.
2. Fireplace makes carbon monoxide leeks back into my family room.
3. Garden/backyard door: defective wood parts, that started to break
4. Basement/garage floor: cracks.

In 3 weeks TARION will come with inspection to help me.

Starlane provided much more superior service to my first house.
