Purchased a sofa from this store after looking around Brampton, Toronto and Vaughn for furniture around the house. The sofa caught our eye and we liked a large ottoman that was part of the set. the staff were willing to negotiate a price because we wanted both items. price was alright and they deliverd to my house as well. they called before coming and set everything up without a cost. we love the sofa and although we bought other furniture from other stores, next time we will certainly buy from this store. good quality, decent price, staff and service. overall recommended.

This store was recommended from a family friend, so my wife and I were excited when we ordered a new bed and couch. The staff at the store were easy to deal with and willing to make custom adjustments. We were happy, at first.

Our experience soon became quite disappointing and frustrating. Firstly, communication with clients is certainly not a priority. We had to call a few times to find out realistic timelines for delivery. Then, when the first delivery arrived, the bed had a broken drawer, was the wrong size, wrong colour and the couch wasn't even on the truck. We got in touch with them in the morning, and were told all would be fixed. A few weeks later, after we called a few times and even visited the store to confirm bed colour, the delivery arrived - though we had to push again because they kept delaying the date. Thankfully the couch arrived this time and we are happy with it. The bed came too, though it is still the wrong colour.

On the surface Designer Furniture seems like a quality place, and we're willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that this was merely one bad experience. Though, they took very little responsibility for their errors and totally failed at communicating with us throughout the process. We had to initiate everything. Their delivery logistics seem chaotic.

Simple communication could solve a lot of the problems and taking responsibility for mistakes helps too. My wife and I will certainly not be using this store again, but perhaps you're experience will be better.

After horrible service and original bedroom set purchased at Mobilia, coming across this store was a blessing. We dealt with the Woodbridge location, with Joe. We ended up purchasing an all wood, Canadian made bedroom set from Designer Furniture in Woodbridge for the same price as the bad quality veener bedroom set from Mobilia that was made in China. Not only is the new bedroom set gorgeous, very well made and made in Canada, but the service we received from Joe went beyond and above our expectations. We are recommending this store to all our family and friends and plan on doing many more furniture purchases there.

I came accross this store some time ago by accident. I was impressed by the nice furniture it carried. Frank was very helpful explaining the different aspects of design. I'm very pelased with my furniture.
I will definitely shop there again.

This store has really nice furniture and Frank who works there is great. He was willing to work with us on pricing, and made us feel that we were buying a high-quality piece. He actually explained the product to us (how it was made, where, etc). He was also willing to order in items that he does not carry. I wish I found this store sooner!
