Thank you for the review. When we first chatted the hope had been to save your old computer but it wasn't to be. We found you a great business class desktop in your price range and delivered it and installed it for you. And yes Pete likes cats and for the matter dogs too.

Thank you Judy for taking the time to share your experiences with us on Homestars. Judy had an older computer that she loves and wasn't looking to upgrade to a new computer. Understanding that computers have an average life span of 4-6 years the decision was made to do a thorough tune up. This took a couple of hours on site and definitely improved the speed at which the computer functions. And while the computer does not run like a new computer Judy was happy because she wanted to keep her older model. Wow Heather thank you for the shout out. This is your second review for us and we really do appreciate it. I am so glad we were able to help. First off we set you up with cloud back up. This was really the life saver in this case. Your computer was attached with ransomare. This malware is vicious and often people end up paying the ransom get their data back. But because you were backing up with a cloud service. Your back up data was safe and malware free. We then cleared your computer and re installed Windows and your software. The backed up data that was ransomware free was then uploaded to the restored computer. What could have been devastating was in the end a nuisance but fixable.
