Although he is competent at the actual repairs, his people skills are lacking, I found him rather surly. When I am paying someone to come and fix my appliances, I am not interested in getting a bunch of attitude so this is why he gets 0 stars. He was hard to get hold of, was either late or early then was all pissy when I wasn't home, like I had inconvenienced him. Highly UNrecommended.

Contacted Graeme and he did come within a day to look at both appliances. Explained the issue with the washer and how it was off balance and smoked during spin cycles. He ran a drain spin cycle on an empty machine and said it was fine. NO IT'S NOT. SMOKED and part of the belt was left in my next load. Called and left a message 5x over 4 days NO RETURNED CALL. He was to repair the ice maker in the fridge and replace the door gasket again no contact no returned calls. I have reported to the company who recommended him and I WILL NEVER CONTACT HIM AGAIN. Time to retire buddy if you don't want to work.

I was very disappointed with my experience with Mr. Beattie. He was not friendly, as well did not seem happy to serve me. I will one hundred percent not use this company in the future unless I am in a pinch. Have a great day!

Fast and professional work done! I bought a small chest freezer on Kijiji a few months ago and after only about 10 weeks of use, it stopped working (was keeping things cold but not frozen, even on coldest temp). Since the freezer was 'new to me', I was hoping that it was fixable so that I could continue to use it. I was pleasantly surprised when i called G B Appliances (recommended by a friend), as they agreed to come and take a look at it just 2 days after I called, and once they did they knew what was needed to fix it and were able to do so the same day. The repair man that came was really good to explain what was wrong and let me know that everything else about the freezer seemed fine. The cost was very reasonable compared to what I was expecting.

G B Appliances came to repair a dishwasher door. While they did fix the door, they left the dishwasher uneven and unlevel (it was level before they came). I called many times to get warranty service but they never returned my call. So I would not recommend them as it their post-repair service is bad.
