heating problem never fixed
I had a terrible experience with this company. We woke up to our heating not working and we called them. They came pretty quick, within 2 hours of our call. The technician (who is also the owner) did some tests and told us that it was because our thermostat. He replaced it and charged us $516 for the installation with the product - the thermostat he put in sells for $160 in the stores.
within 24 hours our heating was not working again. We called him back in the evening ant he came around 9:30am. He told us that he wiggled the wired and it started to work. However, the furnace was giving an error message so he put holes in different parts and told us that it is probable dust blocking something and we would have to pay additional fees for him to fix it. We told him that he should take back the thermostat because that was probably not the problem but he refused. It looks like he butchered our furnace and the vents/pipes by putting holes everywhere. When we did not agree to additional payment, he left. Now we are stuck with a thermostat we didn't need and we have to call someone else to figure out what the actual problem is.
I will be making a complaint to the CMMTQ and I will never recommend this company.
