I purchased a fridge, dishwasher and stove from this store and the items were delivered on time on a Friday. We were happy with the dishwasher and stove, but the fridge did not fit in the space. I initially thought it was because a piece on our upper cabinet was too low so I waited for my husband to come home to remove the piece. Once he did, we discovered it still wouldn't fit because the sides of the fridge bowed out (we held a level against the sides and both sides were not straight). The top and bottom of the fridge fit in the space no problem, but the middle of the sides were each about 1/8" wider which made it just wide enough that it wouldn't fit. By the time we realized this, the store was closed and since they are closed on Saturdays, we plugged in the fridge and put our items on the two shelves inside (left everything else as packaged). When I called Sunday to ask for an exchange since the product ordered was defective (measurements were not as described on the spec sheet - sides ballooned out), I was told that since we had plugged in the fridge and put our items on the shelves, it was considered used and the company would not take it back. The lady I spoke to would not acknowledge that the fridge was defective. I then called my sales rep there (Ajay) and left a voicemail to see if he could do anything since I believed this to be an issue between the store and the manufacturer - store should be seeking a refund from the manufacturer on a defective product. I also sent an email and stressed the urgency since the fridge was sitting in the middle of my kitchen and we still hadn't unpackaged the fridge so there wasn't much space for our food (thinking the company must eventually take the defective fridge back and i considered it still to be "new" since all packaging was in tact). I only heard from my sales rep after I called to say that we had resolved the problem (paid a carpenter to cut out the side of the cabinet). He called back to tell me he hadn't gotten back to me on my voicemail or email because he didn't have any good news for me. Terrible customer service - if the ultimate conclusion was they were not going to fight the manufacturer on the defective fridge, he should have at least gotten back to me to tell me this. Unfortunate situations happen all the time, it's how businesses handle the issues that sets them apart! I would definitely not shop here ever again.
