Inspector stated in his report that I was late for the Home inspection; however, he told my realtor that we didn't need to be there so early as the first part of the inspection would focus on the roof. It is best to pay more and go with a company / inspector that checks all the expensive components; rather, than one that just randomly checks components as what they miss can be expensive to replace. Also, home inspectors should advise of building codes as that should be part of their training.
