I hope this shows up as zero stars, because that's what they deserve. I wish there was negative stars to choose from. Out of the six windows on the back of our house, 4 have issues. After 2 & 1/2 years of trying to get service, we wrote to the BBB, and then Best Windows turned all the issues over to the manufacturer. The manufacturer fixed one issue and told us we would have to pay for the labor to fix the others. Here are the issues. The large pane in the bay window is warped. The casing on the 2 side crank outs got warped and wind was coming in (these casings are what was replaced as a favor to Best windows). The one over the kitchen sink has become 'foggy' inside, and unless it gets moisture in it, it won't be covered under warranty. One window upstairs has a lock that is stuck and we can't open the window. And brand new this year, the inside pane on a window in a room that is hardly used, is cracked almost all the way across. We are senior citizens and definitely did nothing to cause or deserve this. What a waste of time and money. I am so sorry we went with this company, that I could just cry when I look at them, which is every day. These are all triple pane, low e, argon windows.

If you are looking for good windows with no issues and good service when there are some, DO NOT use Best Windows & Doors.

The service, staff, installers, and products at best windows and doors were wonderful and professional to say the least! Definitely no issues! Not only did the sales staff educate me on such issues as window condensation and humidity levels, but they also helped me understand the logistics of windows and doors. I would suggest to the two previous complainers that maybe they too should do some research on window condensation before posting complaints. Just a thought. Overall best windows and doors were great to deal with.

I had hired them on the basis of work they'd done for a family member. Worst mistake I've made in a long time. The security door has been in place for a year and a half of which it's closed for 3 months. They made a huge mess which was never cleaned, the installation was amateur at best, it looks terrible, the handle came off in my hand the first time I went to close it, but most importantly, it doesn't close. The owner was incredibly rude and abrasive. DO NOT CALL!

Once they have your money - Good Luck getting any service. Have asked for my warranty four times, only one response and still no warranty. 83 days so far. I don't think the windows are "Energy Star" Getting tons of condensation ( more that my 28 year old windows), even on the sealed units. Not what I had expected for $10,000. Fit & finish not great. Some 45 degree corners on the trim not lined up and just filled with silicone? Tons of nail holes in trim. I would not recommend this company.
