Hy-Tec Security Inc

We purchased a house with the Hy-Tec Security system already installed.
We assumed the alarm was off and since we were home all the time, did not see the need to activate the system.
We were wrong: The smoke alarm went off, which in turn activated a very loud siren outside.
We had to disconnect the fire alarm.
We called Hy Tec immediately and were informed that they would not provide any assistance without our paying for them to monitor our system.
I told them I did not need a monitored alarm system. They told me to pull the wires from the wall.
I explained that it was our fire alarm that was now disconnected; if we reconnect the fire alarm the siren resumes. The Hy Tec employee reiterated that he would help but it would cost. Unbelievable. Do NOT INSTALL A HY TEC ALARM system. They obviously do not care about safety!

It is difficult when moving into a new area to find honest, trustworthy and reliable services. I only had to look down my street to see that Hytec security was the company to call.
