Centennial Moving

We hired Centennial moving to take our furniture from Vancouver to Toronto over the holidays. They picked up our furniture on the 21st and had it ready to go in Toronto in less than a week. All of our belongings (minus the boxes) were wrapped and taped in blankets after the pickup. Everything arrived undamaged and we were impressed with the services that they provided. We will definitely use Centennial again, and would feel confident in recommending them!

Every single member of the crew was careful, quick, kind, efficient and professional. It was interesting, watching how these guys swiftly wrap and whisk our stuff into the truck, then out. Not a single item was damaged. They were early and ended up charging considerably less than the estimate. Excellent experience all around!!!

I called Centennial Moving and they came up with a quote within a few minutes. My previous move was a really bad experience in the hands of some unprofessional movers. These guys promised to be different though. Indeed, they conducted the relocation flawlessly and didn’t leave any glitches anywhere. They were punctual, respected our agreement and fulfilled their part of the contract. I did not feel overcharged at all. I would suggest them to everyone I know.

Centennial Moving were able to help me out with a long distance move, with less than a week's notice. I needed to move the contents of a first floor, two bed flat from Calgary  to a house in Toronto  and only had a couple of days off work to do it. After filling in the online form on Centennial Moving website I received a call back promptly and arranged a very competitive quote there and then, with no obligation. They even gave me 24 hours to wait and hear back from other removals services before confirming.
The two removal men turned up on time and were friendly, professional and efficient throughout when loading the lorry. As the distance was quite far it was recommended that the job be done over two days, with the delivery happening the following day. It is worth noting that I was charged for the job itself, and not by the hour, so the fact that it took two days did not cost me any more money. I thought this was very reasonable and honest.
On delivery day I was given regular updates by text as to when they would be arriving. On arrival the guys put all the items in whichever rooms they were asked and even helped to put the big fridge-freezer doors back on (they had to be removed to get it out of the flat).
In conclusion, I couldn't recommend this company more!

Asif and Sergio are the best movers we had so far. They moved our furniture in Toronto within our estimated time. We arrived at 5th of November to Toronto from Calgary, and our stuff was just in time on 6th of November, so that we could unpack and settle. Excellent prompt customer rep, very professional and good responsiveness. Low prices met my expectation! I recommend everyone try Centennial Moving.

Our move went smoothly and nothing was broken or damaged. I was amazed by how quickly they worked, and how much each of them could carry. Everything was well organized and labeled so that things ended up in the right room, and the whole team of Centennial Moving was polite and helpful. I would hire them again in an instant.

The manager was very helpful, and they tried to make up for our losses, however they lack of better tracking and management internally. Here's our experience:

We went with them with the understanding that our furniture was going to be delivered within 8 -14 business days. After 14 business days I started asking them when will our stuff arrive, then first told me it's going to arrive in the next couple of days, then we waited and nothing was delivered, then we asked them again, and they said they are delayed again... So after a few back and forth emails we were notified that our stuff won't be delivered for another 2 weeks. Now that was 6 WEEKS since they first picked up our stuff from Vancouver! And for 6 weeks we were living without our bed, office equipments like computers printers etc., as well as kitchen essentials! When I first decided to hire them, I was under the impression that we can move your stuff fairly quickly, and apparently that wasn't our case.

After waiting for 6 WEEKS our stuff was finally delivered... Furniture were damaged, mattress were totally dirty, and more importantly, they have LOST PARTS OF OUR BED FRAME!!! After 1 week and a half since we report the missing parts to them, they finally located them and said they were left off in the truck. They told me they will delivery it next week. Then when the next week came, they told me they've made a mistake, our missing parts won't be here until the week after! The finally the week after, which is this week, when I emailed them again asking what day should we be expecting the delivery, they said they made again a MISTAKE, and the estimated delivery time will be next week!!! By this time, we haven't been able to sleep on our bed since August 2nd, which is almost 2 months! And we feel very helpless and vulnerable as customers, because they have our stuff and they keep saying it will be delivered, then the result is just painful endless waiting.

I’m very grateful to everybody at Centennial Moving  for their care, honesty, and top notch quality work during my family’s relocation. The movers were punctual on either end, and they didn’t damage my things, save for the one glass that broke as they helped me put my new house in order. Thanks once again.
