Yuri was extremely professional, thorough, and responsive in his home inspection. Given how quickly things move in the Toronto market, he was able to be onsite very quickly and was not intrusive in his work. His commentary was logical and realistic and he gave a great blueprint for remediation work for the locations where he found observed areas of concern. Where he was not qualified to comment or did not have the latitude to comment (e.g., behind a wall), he did not make assumptions and was clear about what he could and could not inspect. If or when we move again, I certainly would call Yuri.

After we purchased our house, we noticed an odd odor coming from the basement. We corrected a plumbing issue and were thinking, problem solved. But no, there was something else at work, and we were completely unsure of even where to investigate. I spoke to Yuri and he agreed to come out. We felt we needed a more holistic approach than simply calling in various trades people. After a careful examination, we are fairly certain of what needs to be addressed. Yuri quickly honed in on a set of interlocked issues, and I now feel confident that we can properly correct the situation.

In the crazy GTA real estate market, like most home buyers, we were not able to get an inspection condition on the offer of our new house. However, we knew that we wanted to get a sense of our new house and what some of the first things we may need to focus on once we moved in. As first time home buyers, we knew very little about how to assess the condition of a house. Yuri spent 4 hours with us by his side the entire time reviewing and explaining every facet of the house, inside and out. He also took time to show us basic things we needed to know, like what each mechanical device in the house does and how it works, and how to maintain it (e.g. replace air filters). I found him to be thorough and knowledgeable. Very pleased.

My wife and I hired Yuri to do the home inspection for a house we were looking at purchasing. We were blown away by his performance. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very thorough.

It was an incredibly educational experience for us as well. This being our first home, we did not have a strong understanding of the different systems in a house. Yuri took the time to explain the pros and cons of the different systems, what we needed to do to maintain them, and what we should potentially be concerned about. His report was incredibly thorough as well. We have since bought the house and have printed off his report to use as a manual/guideline for how to care for our home moving forward.
